What rule(s) were broken?:

Spirit of the Whitelist

Whitelist in question:

Predator

Description of the incident:

To start with, I don’t know exactly how it started, but one Predator in particular started going off on a warrior, to the point where they were HPCing him, and attacking him whilst cloaked. I mostly spectated this, but it all just started turning into a full on war between xenoes and preds to the point where one even got capped. Albeit it didn’t last long as the capped induvidual who was being transport to the “hive” (Alamo) freed themselves and ran away essentially the moment he got spat out of the drone carrying him. After that there was some more conflicts between predators and xenoes (they now started doing acting as if the hive had an abom, which was fair for a bit), but not much else happens.

But about 5 minutes after the infected pred (probably) SDd, i pounced the player in question, got two hits, and he started running away cloaking. I then started to disengage after hearing them rev up the ol’ HPC but got exploded nontheless (i guess fair?), but then he started chasing me, shooting his plasma gun or whatever rapidly, whilst cloaked until I die. Which is what i feel broke the spirit of the whitelist as it just seems straight up RDM to me.

I don’t have too much faith in this report going through, as I am reporting a senetor, but my report stands.

Evidence:

I did not film anything, but do post if you did.

Hi, I’m the predator that blew you up.

According to the honor code,

A target or group of targets who attack you without due cause or interfere with your hunt. <— is considered dishonorable.

Throughout the entire round, I did not attack anyone.

As you, a Lurker that attacked me without me attacking first or giving you a reason to do so; you were considered temporarily dishonorable.

Which is why I didn’t report you on an honour code breach, as through it you are allowed to do whatever you wish to a target who attacks you first (which includes stun hitting, lethal HPC, plasma guns, etc.). Which is why I report you on the “Spirit of the Whitelist”, since it seems very wrong (atleast to me) to invis hunt someone with a plasma gun who is running away from you once you went invisable.

But also acording to Honour Code “If an engagement with a prey who is dishonorable is to end, they will no longer be considered dishonorable for the following reasons unless they still qualify to hold the dishonorable status, I.E someone carrying gear in orbit will be dishonorable until the gear is out of their possession”. I did not continue fighting or pursuing you once you went invisable, as I just started b-lining it for the “hive”. So if you want it technical, I quit the engagement and retreated, whilst you used your disengagement to further hunt me down afterwards.

Frankly I wouldn’t have done that if we weren’t actively looking for an infected predator, I just made sure you wouldn’t bother me again.

There is no such thing as “quitting an engagement” as far as I’m aware, unless I’ve been misinformed.

Just as a visiual for those who want it (Graphics design is my passion).

Redline is me going after Stalkerino in this case, and pouncing him on the red X. I (Yellow) then chase him (green) for a bit and start going away once he stealths (light blue). I then get hit by a lethal HPC on the yellow X, and I (blue) then gets chased all the way back to the alamo until my untimely death to plasma gun at blue X.

@stalkerino If you see something wrong with said image do say so as I am being a bit general about placement as I am not too good about remembering details like that.

It’s not right but its alright, logs will show the locations and whatnot.

Alright, it has been determined that the predator in question did not, in fact, break the honor code. You attacked them while they were in the middle of a search for an infected predator and they were within their rights to eliminate you.

This report is denied.
