Evidence hasn’t been shown as… yeah, revealing evidence if there’s cheating just gives cheaters the tools to improve their craft. But, usually in those cases, there’d be ban waves instead of individual bans.
So, just wait the six months and come back hunky dory.
And, if you did cheat, then stop and don’t cheat anymore. This isn’t an FPS shooter where you get worthwhile renown and twitch streaming rights if you’re really good at it. That’s a niche culture of the JROTC of CM, predators, who’ve been caught in ban waves for mass cheating before.
SS13 is a story generator, live TTRPG game. A big part of the enjoyment is imploding due to jank and watching it all fall apart violently. That’s what makes it memorable.

I haven’t been a hard staff for anything beyond related but I am a public face for international relationships for buisnesses, not showing proof for the actions you are taking may conceal somethings but it will dump over any and all trust in the opposite party, that being said, script kiddie or not hope we meet again on some platform again

I would be curious to see any video evidence available. Solely using a shotgun I’ve found to be unviable due to many combinations of latency, experienced xenos sidestepping/strafing, delay between each shot, stunlock gameplay. Obviously, if you are able to hit every pb/shot without any ff the shotgun would be godtier. But I find most players use shotgun as a backup weapon to one hand pb xenos that get too close. I imagine the same problems are encountered with Yautja melee in needing to be precise and sprite click targets.
I find myself these days just using a m41a on full auto and hovering over the xeno with my mouse cursor as that seems to be the most contributing that I can be now and also due to how pbing was nerfed greatly with any other gun except shotgun.

The fact that people made a mock program (that is literally just some text on a green background) because of how funny this was, is pretty telling.
I’ve seen Lat play for ages, he literally just is that good. I feel really disappointed at the fact that no one in staff has commented about the evidence at all. The report didn’t even have any proper evidence even listed.
But idk, maybe I’m just getting old.

There are two big reasons staff would not share evidence on the matter.
One, to prevent cheaters from learning how to circumvent how they got caught.
Two, parties that are involved with collecting evidence wishing to remain anonymous.
Realistically speaking, why would staff conspire to ban someone for no reason, especially in a manner such as this?

Yeah I really can’t blame staff for not releasing evidence publicly, as frustrating as it is. Any evidence was probably collected by quite a few people over a long time, and disclosing your sources is a sure fire way to cripple your ability to find people to detect potential cheating in the future.

Staff can be wrong, you know. They can absolutely ban someone without a second thought because of one personal matter, pull something out of nowhere because someone didn’t like the player.
For example, my first perma was because of discord shitposting with staff. No warning, no prior history, just straight perma.
This perma also happened to be during my soon to be accepted CO app by a moderator who was friends with this one CO. Said CO that, by happenstance, had failed a pointblank BE on me and got husked by a blue flame.
Then, I got unbanned once my app got denied because I was banned from the discord, because it turns out, I wasn’t given a warning, the shitposting was alongside moderators who didn’t warn me (no context discord screenshots as usual), and the head who was asked wasn’t given all the details and a perma on a clean record was…extraordinary.
It turned out this ban was begged for by said CO, to have my app denied. Said CO, who, a few weeks afterwards, at the hangar said, “hey, wanna play catch?” Threw a throwing knife at me, then when I tossed it back, decapped me with an M41A.
I didn’t bother to report it.

Staff can be wrong, biased, and third parties can spit boogers in for good measure.

That is really all I ask for people to consider. Nobody is perfect, and mistakes can in fact be made even in groups of experienced people.
I was hoping people wouldn’t take this post for scrapping at sympathy, but moreso awareness and perspective.
All I had wished for during this exchange was benefit of the doubt considering my standing as a long-time, albeit off-and-on, player since around 2018. For someone to realize that I still made mistakes whilst playing the game like a normal person would (sorry for PBing you instead of that runner Bill Stone)
I have had the fortune being able to play this game at 16-20ms consistently, and being able to set my game at 100 fps in the preferences tab. I know others who do not have that fortune like Strobia, Spear, and Stalkerino that are vastly and mindbogglingly more superior to me in playing this game, especially as a Yautja. I couldn’t imagine them with the boons I’ve had throughout the years.
So yes, please keep an open mind is all I ask.
