So I’ve come to apologize for my mistakes in the past few years. I’ve not played the game for what feels like ages. I was easily impressionable and I didn’t hang out with the best people back in the day. My actions weren’t carried out in good spirit- I actively evaded bans and became not only a nuisance but a torn on the staff team’s side. Whilst I was actively engaged and enjoying the game, my behavior was disruptive and antisocial. I don’t want to excuse my actions by any means, but I’ve had the opportunity to achieve growth in other personal aspects and I believe I’ve become a better person overall, and that I’m ready to rejoin the community in a way that aligns with its values.
I am fully committed to upholding and enhancing the positive environment of the community. Ignoring the rules in the past was completely selfish and I didn’t consider the impact I’d have on the standard of rule enforcement had I just been let go clean. I do want to offer sincere apologies to those whose time I wasted.
I know words can only go so far, and that I don’t have any quantifiable way to account for a change besides the time I’ve spent off the game (given the fact that I don’t play any other servers at all), but I’m ready to demonstrate it through my actions if I’m given the chance to. I want to help foster the same positive environment for others that drew me to the game in the first place.
Just to wrap this up, I promise to respect the rules, treat others fairly and contribute positively to the game and the community. I’ve taken the time to reflect on my behavior and have worked on becoming a more respectful person. Trust isn’t easily regained- but I’m ready to do what it takes to prove that I’m serious about being a better player and community member.
