A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
Depends on the situation, could be that a lurker was nearby and I got confused by one or they got spooked by the ping of an MD. As I would be cloaked if not actively hunting, I would proceed to step back and do some sounds to mark the fact that I am not a XX-121. If they DO still decide to fight me then I comply with their demands, choosing to start a fight with them as it IS a game and we are here to fight and have fun.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
Situations can change answer but I would ask what was the reasoning behind the stolen kill, if the explanation seems credible enough and makes sense then I would defect with understanding between both parties. But if they seem arrogant and did it on PURPOSE to spite me, I would certainly demand satisfaction either coming as another trophy or in any way they can come up with. As my clan does not wish for aggressive relationships with the others I would not go directly towards an honor duel.

Hello! Super fun to see you applying for Ek-Thok! Im not a super MEGA fan of that answer being “My clan does not wish for aggressive stuff with others clan so I wouldnt go towards a honor duel”. A reminder that protecting your honor/clan’s honor goes above clan relationships. If someone mocks you, and all that stuff- Including stealing your kill- You should be prepared to defend your honor above all else should the offending yautja refuse any and all attempts to make up for their mistake (if it was one of course). But IMO that’s just an RP thing, as a pred you’ll learn these things pretty quickly if you get accepted.
I’ll give you 3 questions down below, and offer my vote afterwards depending on the result.
LV624. Its 1H12 into the round and a siege is holding up, xenos right ontop of the last few lines of cades as a hunter gets killed. You don’t have the time to stop the marine from carrying the hunter to the inside of the FOB as they drop the yautjas body in the middle of the dropship mid siege next to people healing. What is your next move and how do you deal with this situation?
Solaris Ridge, not even 1 hour into the round. You are sitting with another hunter talking about something as a marine comes running at the two of you, standing still for 1 second before walking up to you and PB’ing you. The other hunter cloaks and retreats to give space. I want you to answer these things.
What does the honor code state about this sort of thing?

Kutjevo round. Ultra highpop, you are wandering around the map looking for something to do as an hivelord spots you looking from afar in the backline. The hivelord gives you a really long stare, before attacking you. However they are a prime and visibly knows this is a losing battle yet intends on doing it. This is less of an HC question and more of a player-style one I want to see you answer.
What is your reaction? Where do you go from there? This might sound like a silly question, but very often people are gonna run at you with gear/caste that allows them absolutely 0 chance at winning, even if they are aware of it or not.
While the honor code permits and lifts the FOB clauses, this is a situation where me opening a cade could lead to a cade breach. So I stare for a bit in case the situation escalates to full EVAC or simply a push from the marines, sieges don’t last forever at full force so in the meanwhile I would for possibles entrances, trying to assertain the place without turrets or people with MDs, if all else fails then I would simply wait for ending of the siege as either way it would give me more of a chance later on to carry body retrieval without fucking up the round for any side. In any case I would NOT utilize full front force, not only because it’s siege and people only doing their job and not protecting the gear, but also because the fact utilizing anything other than my melee and invisibility would pretty much griefing any side I use it on.
1* Assuming that no action was taken by my side and he decided to attacked me after just standing still? Then that makes it a temporarily dishonorable prey.
2* The honor code says that it allows me further utilization of more lethal weaponry on my arsenal, and it also tells me that I should fight it alone as it was an offense to me.
3* He wanted a fight, that much is clear so I offer it not with the full front lethal assault with a plasma caster but just simply fighting him with my melee weapon. If I went just plasma casting people for shooting me with PB that would be kind of a dick move to anyone just wanting to have fun fighting a pred, in any case I should be able to retreat if the situation goes south too quickly thanks to the initial PB just being an underhanded tactic.
Same as the marine, they wanted a fight so I give it. Although as he is a hivelord I would not kill it, simply leaving it on critical health and dragging him to weeds. Even if their status as a worthy target lets me finish the hunt to completion and take a trophy. Frankly for me it’s just the fact that we are in a game to have fun, maybe he just thought “Yeah, maybe I am going out and this guy looks fun to fight” and as such there is no reason for me not comply, it’s after all what most people groundside are there for… A fight and possibly RP if the situation gets for it, as a Yautja WL it should be in my best interest to give both in equal measure while trying not blow up people for the slightest of offenses, even if it would be pretty fun to do it.
