This is meant to get a grasp of your goals going forward with Role-play standards within CM, What is your vision for CM going forward and How do the Predator Changes fit into it and can we as community expect any similar changes going forward and do you have any examples.
Secondly what is the wider reasoning for changing the Rules around the use of Jamaican.
And lastly in another post you mentioned bans for violating the spirit of the rules, could you also elaborate on what you mean by that as well

Probably a good idea to post screenshots of the specific posts you want clarity on with the specific parts highlighted you want a response to.

Heya! I saw this, then forgot it and then remembered it days later. I actually dont mind if people just @Clairion if they really want something specific from me. It helps a lot with getting my attention.
Anyways while I already answered some of this stuff in the main discord I dont mind going over it again here.
I will quite openly say that in the future the roleplay rules (Rule 2) needs both a total redesign and rewrite in my opinion.
They dont really achieve what they are supposed to achieve, nor is it totally clear what they are meant to achieve. Right now they are mostly a list of pretty specific do’s and don’ts that dont provide a clear vision of where they want the RP standards to be as a whole.
I havent discussed where I want to take the roleplay rules in the future with the rest of management yet. And honestly I havent decided personally yet either.
I’m not entirely sure how impactful/game defining I want any changes there to be yet. It could range from being similar to how they are now with slight tweaks on one end to totally redefining how everybody is supposed to play the game on the other end.
Thats more something for the future though. Think more like months than weeks.
So yeah long term and nothing changing there right now, and I also am not totally set on my vision yet but I will be in the future.
A combination of it being LRP and insensitive. If it was just one of those I’d probably have let it be but it was both and got axed.
It also provides a great opportunity for the larger playerbase to reset their RP standards for how players are supposed to act around preds. So now the playerbase can decide how HRP/LRP they want to be with it without being chained to a years old term that has become the default.
The letter vs the spirit of the rules is just the same as the letter vs the spirit of the law.
The letter is what is written down and the spirit is what is actually meant.
I have never been and will never be interested in people who go:
“Actually technically it only specifically says X here so that means that Y MUST be allowed/illegal”
In my opinion that achieves nothing and is acting in bad faith. Nothing that special really.

Would you be open to reworking mutinies and escalation?
