Surprised this isn’t already a thread.
Recently had a switch in my medications and it’s been pretty rough, so I’ve been sleeping a lot more and a lot of it is in that weird dream-prone not-quite daydream state. Here’s two from today alone.
Dream 1:
It was some weird island map. The majority of the island was the large cathedral in the center but there were also a bunch of ruined buildings on tiny outcroppings dotted around the coast. Marines had fully evac’d or something because there was a shit ton of “trash” ghost role aliens available but not much else, and there was also like 2 marines camping on the second z level of some weird stonehenge like structure and just picking off the constant waves of garbage. I remember getting kinda pissed off because I’d gotten a hugger and had found some junk on the ground that perfectly covered my sprite, only for another hugger to come to my exact spot and start moving their sprite around and it completely fucked me over. I managed to escape when they started shooting and they didn’t, and of course when I tried to hide under it a second time they were well aware of my spot and just nailed me with a bullet 
. Took every ounce of effort not to be a salty bitch at them in dchat.
Dream 2:
Weird map. Can’t begin to describe it. Very z-level heavy. Imagine some burned out trash heap of a city where most buildings were just industrial corpses. There was also some kinda night club further east but that wasn’t relevant to the dream at all. A lot of it was dark as though it was indoors and there was lots of spare scaffolding for aliens to climb and teetering bits of industrial debris like rebar. Also some weird very spiky vines I remember climbing as a runner. When you grabbed onto them they’d lose most of their spikes and kind of “adapt” to your hold on them, as they were some kind of symbiotic living thing. Anyways I was up at the very rickety top and some survivor spotted and started chasing me. I’d already stickied the entire top and bought myself some time, but following the rebar and scaffolding north made me see lights moving in the distance, so I had to try to juke them. Eventually the hive unlocked evolving into runners so I was able to make a clean get away by the skin of my teeth. Dude was relentless.
Honorable mention dream from like 3 nights ago:
Admin activated “Evil Mode” before the round started and when people started bitching in OOC they just started banning people. There wasn’t enough people to start the round after that and they kinda just had a minor tantrum of their own on people “not being able to behave.” in OOC. I have no idea what “Evil Mode” was or entailed, but I somehow intrinsically know it’s a toggle like Hardcore mode. Also at some point the same make believe admin closed my queen resprite PR despite not being a maintainer and said “they knew what I was” and that it was made to further “my agenda”.
. Was looking forward to it all year and everything.
