I haven’t played on TGMC.
But from what I hear it’s a streamlined for combat experience.
For gamers of games like call of duty, and other shoot em ups, an experience where the concentration of combat comes in, it makes sense why some gamers may believe this to be more appealing.
In the end, the maintainers have their vision of the game.
In any disagreement, it’s unlikely for anyone to ever change their mind.
Instead, it’s about trying to find a new perspective and have the conversation there for others to view.
For example, I made an ideasguy thread and a PR to make com tech more “exciting.” Someone else made another PR that was overall better because he was able to see the good ideas, and the bad ideas to reach what we got in the end.
Honestly solid take that appeases both sides. Yeah would not be opposed to the way you suggested it
I’m just confused what people want in the end. Some people have suggested tac map symbols which would be an actually nice quality of life instead of using mspaint
Or dropping a waypoint that the arrow attracts you like a SL

Any server that does that should immediatly delete their repo.
Only the orginial CM experince please, no outside influences that change things.
The CM experince with a 100% original repo, anything else is sub standart.
Why don’t we just make a new type of flare that turns into a marker?
Or- use a certain feature that im surprised no one has talked about. The flare gun.
If you use the flare guns unique action, it fires straight up into the air- why the fuck don’t we just convert that into the marker - for rp stuff it makes sense as a signal flare showing where shit is happening
