Comstech Mains, do you ever take the regular toolbelt?

I’m pretty sure once the construction belt was added I have not once taken the normal toolbelt, and before that, I would nearly always just take a webbing vest and put all my tools in there + screwdriver on ear and cables in engi kit.

The construction belt just adds so much more value than a toolbelt, that it’s a must pick for me

There’s no real reason to take it over the construction belt, it’s basically a noob trap for people that don’t know inventory management very well yet.

Still repping EOD, still got my toolbelt, its honestly mostly just habitual at this point though

both construction belt and toolbelt suck, belt slot exists to carry MD.

it got it’s place. I grab it when I get brute. I prefer construction belt for when I take turret or/and when I do sandbag shenanigans

Depends. It gives me an excuse to use a chestrig instead of welderpack since I can carry 2 welders, also light replacer which is really handy on maps with lots of floodlights.

Never on tyrago.

Not a CT main but if I go CT with the deliberate intention of sitting my ass on comms and babysitting it all game, I take the toolbelt. Otherwise ammo rig (if I am combat combat tech) or construction belt (if I am just building fob).

Belt slot can be used more efficiently. Tools can be stored in tool pouch+webbing. Belt slot can be used to carry extra gun + extra ammo or MD.

off topic but the combat toolbelt is the best belt slot for pistol loadouts. Loads like 12 mags and 2 guns, amazing for akimbo stuff

I take tool belt as I use vest for meds and a pouch for C4s, also brute.

I grab the belt for the ease of getting tools and usually switch to a G8 with MD, turret, multitool and shovel. Then ditch the belt and just wear the MD when I have more room later on.
