This is completely hypothetical and I do not condone distracted driving. That being said what if I used a hands free device to translate voice commands into the game while driving a vehicle. I could effectively be XO/CO all day. It would make playing XO/CO a way more thrilling and adrenaline addicting activity unlike any X Sport.
What if my XO/CO is just an old wheelchair user who needs a player to chaperone them around to get to consoles or the phone and that’s how I alleviate the need to worry about motion inputs.
What if sometimes my new XO/CO would blast coworker conversations over the announcement microphone then said “Apologies, disregard that. None of you were suppose to hear that. Semper Fi Marines.” And the Marines just had to act like they didn’t hear the XO/CO tell their coworker about a guy they let stick a thumb up their butt.
Imagine the depth while making something typically a monotonous task (driving or being XO/CO) into a life and death struggle between not getting into a horrible six lane pile up while not getting the marine force into a horrible six lane pile up. It’s like double or nothing Russian roulette. Through this pressure my XO/CO character would be on edge and presumptuously incompetent. It would be great!
