Even though I shit on CM a lot, it’s held a special place for me. Six years seeing people come and go is a long time. My only regret is not getting involved with the community sooner. I’m leaving to become a real marine CO (they’re giving it to me cause I told them I play CM and I’m an absolute fragger).
I’m leaving this Sunday and decided to play a few rounds this week just to say bye to all the dudes in game. For real the only reason I kept playing CM was cause of the community
Shoutout to the following people that made me stick around longer:
Mayl Fore aka Tool aka Survivor of the Survivor nerfs
George Franks aka C4 aka the reason I stuck around CM and a survive of a hitsquad
Karl Walz aka Dargus aka the only reason I became a CO and the best fragger in an undisclosed russian video game
There’s so many more awesome people that deserve a shoutout that it would take me a week to write all of them. Real ones know who they are. For real you guys made CM a special place, and it’s the only reason I kept coming back
I’ll be deleting my discord and cm account when I depart for OCS, cause I’ll be too busy to play anymore.
You guys as a community made CM a blast for me. Thanks
Cya man hope to see you around again a different time good luck ordering real men, hope you don’t have to fight any more bugs
So cya around space cowboy O7
I’m glad I was able to see you around not only Colonial Marines, but Baystation as well. I hope you take the lessons learned in the silly spaceman game and use them to have as large an impact on our military forces, as you have in these small communities. Best of luck.
If you get slapped to my unit as a cadet i will turn you into a specialist and teach you the ways , also need an id10t form as well for motorpool maintenance
