Description of the incident:

After I died planetside as a Bad Blood on a non-pred round, the marines recovered my corpse & equipment, taking the body to the Almayer while thoroughly looting it and spreading pred equipment across different people, shipside and in the FOB. Not more than a few minutes after Research acquired my body and threw it into a cell, Forest spawned himself in on his pred to engage in gear recovery, acquiring the corpse & equipment and ultimately killing a good handful of marines, including blowing up an IO that held the mask, before heading to the FOB to take gear from a marine there. After this, a pred round was forced.

I think that using admin privilege to engage in gear recov on a non-pred round is pretty bad faith and gives the marines absolutely nothing but more stuff to worry about; it wasn’t a pred round, they shouldn’t have been raided over equipment from a dead pred surv that randomly rolled otherwise. I have nothing against forest, but I think that this was single-sided usage of admin powers.

My understanding was that it wasn’t an event but a staff spawn.
I’m aware of a Predator Council Report which is currently also being discussed.

Will wait for the council to judge on their report before making any ruling.

As per my review of the events, it was found that Forest did not violate any honor code rulings but an amendment will have to be made to the honor code to rectify something that should have always been there. That is the Ancient Clause, Meaning that an Ancient can alter the honor code at their own peril. Its been known for a while but it is an obvious oversight its not visible to all players who read the HC and I apologize for that.

Treated as similarly as Rule 0 for Admins and above, It did not cause any harm planetside for him to enter the FOB to acquire gear and he harmed nobody, the case being that is the only thing the council can talk about. As for staff-wise on forcing a pred round I have no comment on that.

Happy to leave this as resolved with the amendment to the honour code.

From an admin side when spawning in as pred, staff will be required to toggle pred round before doing as to give other predators the opportunity to join.
