Accused character name:
Runner (OP-462)

Rule 5: Mechanical Exploits
Description of the incident:
I observed this player for 30 minutes because they seemed suspect to me (new face, yet standoff-ish, argumentative and combative with others AND seemed to be clicking 2d spacemen very well indeed). It’s something I’ve been more vigilant of since the Steam release, as I am pretty sure that a lot of old banned players have been using some form of exploit via Steam to evade bans on CM.
Irregardless, the video below serves as an unbiased visual illustration of my accusations, that being that this player is using some form of third party cheat. I’d call it unbiased, in that it is an edited clip of EVERY single attack I observed them make during the groundside phase of the round. I have viewed the incident 3 times: once in the round, once in DaVinci Resolve, and once post-editing. My opinions on them using cheats has not changed, and these are my observations:
- While in melee range, they did not miss a single slash.
- I noticed one single swipe at the floor that could constitute a miss, this was outside of melee range of any marine.
- All tailstabs connected bar 3. These 3 are likely because of the marine being outside of tailstab range when an attempt was made.
To call this a statistical improbability is an understatement; It’s a statistical impossibility drawing on borderline absurd brazenness.
Evidence:
I have condensed my ~30 minutes of footage into one ~9 minute best of greatest hits collection.

To add: This clip ends with OP beelining the last groundside survivor’s exact location. I did right click and grab the names of who was observing said player at the time, and it seemed rather meta to me. From what I gather from PR rules, this would be out of scope of this report, however.
