Dr bushmans guide to toxins.

I Dr james bushman have emerged from my lab to share with you some of my newest wisdom. I have shifted my focus to the joys of every scientist. Poisons but not just any poisons. Anything one can mix up some lexorin and use that. The main issue with poisons in game is getting them inside people. Putting it in their drink has issues because people tend to drink in only 5u amounts. Not to mention it’s a luck of the draw if it gives them the “you taste sulfuric acid” alert. Why is my space man able to recognize the taste of every single chemical in the game. Using pills and injectors are slightly better. However with pills requires you to stack still and the person can just walk away.

But there is a way around this issue. For we come to injectors. Specifically the hypospray. Able to instantly inject 30u of any chem into someone. But don’t get too excited as there is still one issue. Toxins and most non med’s will take time to inject. Giving the victim warning you’r about to inject them with something. But there is a select few med’s that have an OD lower than 30 units that don’t suffer from this issue. I have done some test and found a few chems that make perfect weapons.

Maybe you’re a Rsr who is tired of the CL shit. Who knows maybe this info could be good for HVH mode. When you’re a medic and the enemy has you surrounded. You decide to surrender and lay down you’r gun. But what they don’t expect is for you to pull out a hypospray and instantly perma them. Don’t try to use this against MP’s as they get an inherent injector immunity. 99.999999% of time this just makes it harder for me to give them life saving meds. But in this hyper specific case it’s an issue..

So I did time trials for tracking how quickly these chems disable you. This often means putting you into crit. So it may not kill yet but often death follows a few seconds behind. But yes I hit the stop button as soon as the victim hit the floor.

Epinephrine- One of the slowest killers. Clocked in at around 18 seconds for it to disable them. It deals damage via toxin and oxygen. The wiki is wrong, it does not deal brute damage. It also does not tell you that it deals liver and brain damage. Super rapidly in fact. Good for making sure that even if the person is recovered they will be out of commission for a bit.

Radium- A very slow killer and not a med either. For whatever reason injection works with no delay. Since it deals clone damage it requires a cryo tube to cure. Clone damage gives you mutated limbs. They act like frac’s except they only go away with curing the clone damage. Again this is super slow so not the best as a weapon. But good for preventing them from being recovered.

Dex plus- A more potent version of epi. Disables in 15 seconds via toxin damage and a bit of brute. However it deals no organ damage. So good for speed alone.

Meralyne- Clocked in at 14 seconds. Good because it deals burn damage that deals more pain. Super toxic that can kill shortly after. Since it deals burn damage often over 100 it means medics will need to work harder to fix you. That extra few seconds can perma someone.

Predaxon- Clocked in at 6 seconds with death being super soon after. Deals a mix of brute, burn, and toxin. It’s speeds is the best.

CF3- A very useful as it does not need a large does to kill. However it kills slower then predaxon. But deals over 200 burn making it much deadlier. When mixed with a stun chem it is very good.

Stun chems- By mixing in at least 5u of a chem that deals brain damage you can instantly stun a person. then have 25u of whatever you need. Making the CF3 and this the perfect toxin.

mercury will instantly floor you from its neurocryogenic effect, then quickly rot your brain so you’re useless when/if you get up again

I know I mentioned using a chem that attacks the brain to instantly stun them.

You have a deep knowledge of obscure and complex mechanics that most players will never bother to interact with. That is very impressive.

Well if you guys have nothing to add I will make an offical guide.

I for one only ever use Soporific, not really to poison anyone but it sure is the friend of any Doc or Rsr dealing with some troublesome fellows… even had to use more then just a few times.

I’ll read every guide if it helps me cut down on trying to create devices that have no application.

My attempts at OD’ing Xenos with Potassium Chlorophoride and Foam didn’t pan out

Well what are you trying to make as I might just know how to do it. If I don’t I might know how to find out.

I’m pretty sure there are certain chem mixes that I have made that have killed me instantly. I’m pretty sure it was a mix of lexorin and another chemical

Friendly reminder that doing so and being ahepled by the victim will grant you note at the very least, because it is not doctor’s job to deal with anyone in medbay, even if MPs are completly absent. Been there done that.

hmm… Well i never had a issue but i also tend to toss the offending party onto the Alamo to wake up ground side. (every time i had to do so was on a rifleman or other wise ground force roll.)

The only 2 times i had not done so was with a SG who busted into the lab and killed my coworker in hopes to find Doc. There were no MPs at the time so was little else i could do so i drugged and hogtied the fellow… after a long while a SO came and picked up the lad.

other time a hugged lad was being rather uncooperative in lettings me go through proper procedure.

Bushman the evil gas maker has arisen..
This is actually one sort of unique guide, and it’s interesting to look into more methods of antagonizing people.. (as long as it’s totally reasonable and justified rule-wise lol).
Quite nice.

Smoke flame thrower filled with predaxon gas on HvH when?

I wish marines law allowed prisoner who are in perma to be exacuted via expirmenetaion. I would love to do more accruate test with humans who can be a better anolog for the real thing.

Fun fact the rework added a new chem dioxin that makes you go bald.
