What is your Synthetic’s Personality?
Davie is a laid back synth, is neutral and generally stays away from conflict. Davie mostly spends his time aboard the Almayer, helping medbay with their patients.
How will they react to the different ranks of the USCM, what would they talk about in a one on one conversation? What are their interests? What is an advertisement logline that could be written for them?
Davie is a relatively older model synth new-gen, catering to more of a nurse style of synth and talks in a laid back but somewhat formal way.
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
Whilst I would mostly be playing as a working Joe, I think I could be a relatively good support role for the USMC. I want to be a synth because it gives a more strict set of rules that is harder to break.
What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
Although I don’t speak to synths that much, one time as an MP, me, a synth and a corporate liaison went to the liaison’s personal evacuation where I was told to go out and get a colonist that was supposedly friends with the liaison where the synth wanted me to live but couldn’t say anything to the liaison. I went out, thinking that the liaison would wait for me, but i couldn’t find the colonist so I returned to the dock where I found nothing and later died.
Synthetic Character Story:
Aboard the Almayer during an operation involving the UPP, Davie, a synth, who was also fresh out of the factory, was deployed with the marines. Davie began preparing for the operation, grabbing medical supplies and such. When he finished he went over to the briefing hall where the marines were bickering and bantering with one another “Good morning marines!” he shouts cheerfully, trying to lift the marines spirits who were annoyed from waking up from hyper-sleep “We are fine synth, just preparing for our operation with the UPP.” one marine says before another marine screams “I am ready to rip those communists guts clean out of their bodies and eat them!” the synth follows him up by saying “Y’know the most of UPP guys aren’t bad? Most of them are just mislead by their leaders, with their personality ripped out of them by a false ideology. We are here do subdue them, heck, maybe even capture a few, but not mutilate them!”. The marine nods slowly, only to go back to screaming about torturing UPP soldiers. As the marines went down, Davie did his duties as a synth, such medical, maintenance and some other support roles. As time went on, the command staff got more and more nervous, patients were piling up at medbay as if things are going horribly wrong. So he decides to go down, only to see that it was the species. He begins looking around for any marines in need of assistance. As he stumbled around aimlessly, he encountered a marine, the average type, tall, lean and with uniform hair. He was on the ground, convulsing violently, so he decided to take action. He took out his scanner “1 unidentified lifeform detected near the chest” the scanner bleeps as he fumbles around with the surgical equipment he was given. He begins to dig into the marines chest with haste, clamping the blood vessels with his hemostat. He begins to fold back the skin with the retractor and saw away at his ribcage, exposing his guts and larvae with it. He begins to sever the material that the larvae is using to attach to his body, but as he was doing this, a runner lunged from the darkness of an old colony bar that had been infested with the dark pulsating matter. The synth manages to dodge it, leaving only a scratch on his face, but the marine was in danger so he shot a few warning shots at the runner which seemed to work for the moment as it ran away. “Requesting a fireteam to the bar immediately, casualty in need of assistance… A runner jumped us…” he requests urgently into the microphone as he begins ripping out the larvae piece by piece. He was only finishing up by the time the fireteam came, but it seemed the runner had brought attention to them and alerted the rest of the hive. The marines began firing into the infested bar as many of the species began gushing out. The synth not being a fighter decided to go back up and let the marines handle it from there, so he began lifting the marine onto his back ready to depart back to the Almayer to further tend to the marine…

What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
Synths are not used for combat, they are used for supporting the marines. A synth may only use combat if it is valid with marine law AND synthetic programming.
For example if a synth was attacked by a marine, the synth would only distance themselves and give verbal warnings, if it persists they may use non-lethal ways of subduing them.

I have been banned and warned a few times, I am trying to change this thought and be a better player for the benefit of admins and players.
