A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
Context matters most in this scenario, If I was cloaked they could’ve mistaken me for a Lurker, if that were the case I would pull back to a more secluded area and play noises to show what they were really getting into and to also drag them away from the main fight, but if it were a larger group of marines It would be best to disengage.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
I would demand a face to face meeting immediately after, I would demand that they apologize and give a valid reason for why they killed my mark, If they do not try to make amends or apologize and give a valid reason to why they hunted my mark, I would demand an honor duel to the death.

Such said, Im not going to be giving out a +1 for that alone. As said previously in DMs, I’ll be tossing out questions to you so they can be answered in public and will help me out in weighting either a +1 or -1. Though I’ll still say Im still not a super fan of your marine last name, and should likely change it. Im certain council would also appreciate that but I can’t speak on their behalf.
The round is around halfway past its mark, as you assemble around with a bunch of yautjas for RP. Huddled around a campfire, banter goes back and forth until another hunter seems to take a clear dislike to your own yautja. Calling you “a weak pup”, “disgusting wretch” and other things. Others yautjas are getting slowly more and more invested in the banter as the group’s attention gets solely focused on you and the other blooded.
What do you do? Whats your reaction and where do you proceed afterwards?
You receive a message over the radio from another hunter, saying he “found a special human” he wants to duel and demands you come over to witness him. You move over to the area where the fight will undergo, and stop next to the pair getting ready for a melee fight. A while passes as they both battle, ultimately ending up in the hunter’s demise as the human is quite clearly like 1-2 punches away from dying. They finish off the hunter before another marine comes over, stares for a few moments and starts trying to take the mask from the fallen hunter. The marine who fought previously types “its okay he can have whatever he wants” as the other guy doesnt reply.
What do you do?
You and another hunter notice gear is on the ship, and decide to embark on a recovery mission. Thankfully, its only a couple signatures, including one communicator located in the CL’s office. The other hunter says he will go for that one and you get the others around the ship. You follow him to the CL’s office and notice hes demanding the communicator from the CL. You run off to do your things, and return 2 minutes later to the pair having their verbal standoff.
What do you do? You know for a FACT nobody is around apart from you three, you got plenty of time and they are still talking as you arrive.
The following is merely a own question of mine, as I never got to ask you it. And I noticed you had no “Would you like to add anything else” to your segment so I may as well toss it out here.
What made you WANT to apply for predator in the first place? What’s your interest in the whitelist itself?
I would start off by throwing insults of my own back at them and after a minute of banter, would try to defuse the situation and instead tell the other Yautja to give proper criticism instead of throwing insults, If they refuse I would just brush off his insults and demand him to apologize, if he refuses all of that together and keeps provoking me I would demand an honor duel.
I allow the marine to only have a single piece of gear, such as a spear but to leave the rest of the hunter’s gear alone, after which I would take the Yautja’s body back to the Yautja ship and take it to the hall of dead hunters or self-destruct the body depending on the situation.
I would advise the other hunter to give an ultimatum and to act quickly on what he will do with the human, If he does not act I would forcefully take the communicator from the CL, I would scold the hunter after gear recovery and tell him to act quickly next time.
I only applied for predator because of my love for the movies and because I just think they are sick, but I also want to put myself in new experiences and roleplay scenarios so that I can learn more and eventually set myself up for another whitelist in the future if this comes to be accepted.
I like your answers, though the question 2 the gear given should only be given to the winning marine. Someone trying to rush loot pred gear without a word should just be killed on the spot without hesitation, even if its "okay for him to take what he wants. You earn the right to hold that gear through bloodshed and combat, not gifting.
That aside, sadly the half-life reference flew right over my head as I never played it in my life. That and the last name still irks me, despite the warning I gave prior. Good answers but those two things are the main drawback, ESPECIALLY the predator name.
I have no doubt you could make for a good predator, but the names are once more the biggest concern.
I strongly, STRONGLY recommend withdrawing the application, make a new pred name/new marine name and use the next month to solidify yourself to the pred community.
Clear up the bad names used and im sure the application will be smooth next time. I have no doubt council won’t mind you using the same story long as you change the predator name+marine last name for your next application.
