Description of the incident:
As a researcher Tyrone has shown a repeated set of behaviors that is disrespectful to players on an OOC level, both in respect for their time and their own enjoyment. It has been personally observed by myself that Tyrone will purposefully join rounds around ~30 minutes into the op, which is the approximate point in which botany is typically majority complete, but not finished. He then uses this time to rush to find chemical traits, and make a stimulant. If he does not find the traits he is looking for, or if he cannot create the stim he wants, he will cryo.
Botany is a well known part of research, and is typically seen as the first and largest hurdle to overcome, and takes a large amount of time to do it. By skipping this, Tyrone is purposefully exploiting latejoin mechanics to make others do this work for him, and then take over the portion that most researchers wish to do. It is highly inconsiderate to the time and enjoyment of other researchers, and even when spoken to about this exact thing, he simply continues to do it.
On the specific round listed, I personally spoke to him when he arrived (doing so in character, granted) to please let myself do the stimulant manufacturing as I had done all of botany already and that I was tired of late-wakers taking it while im still working on botany. He agrees, then makes a somewhat rude comment that he will be correcting me and that it needs to be perfect and also I should take too much time getting it perfect. That part is in character, granted, I wont fault him for words. What I will fault him for however, is then immediately beginning to create a stimulant without a word otherwise, backstabbing the request he had agreed to.
Additionally, I have asked him about this behavior in LOOC before (I could not find the round logs) and his excuse for it on 3 separate occasions was that he was eating, or getting food. While innocent and hard to prove itself, its hard to accept that as a valid reason after so many different occurances.
Researchers do not play research to grow plants for 30-40 minutes then get stuck doing everything else. We want to be able to make the fun chems too. Its exhausting doing botany 5+ times, then having the best parts pulled out from under you. I genuinely lose the patience to play research and it discourages new researchers as well. This should not be an acceptable behavior.
Evidence:
its hard to give concrete evidence since its a repeated pattern over multiple rounds, but I was able to snag this before the round was over, a round in which he took over stimm production again:
