I like the original series. Mostly because i haven’t watched any of the other series lol.

TNG is the best Star Trek, but DS9 is better at being a TV show if that makes sense.

Picard was the main protagonist of TNG, with Spock being sometimes questionable. The new series reduces them to pity old men for the new main heroes in new series which is a sad state of development.

Very true. Honestly the worst of TNG is vastly superior to nearly all or all of new trek.

Voyager is a lesser TNG in my humble opinion. Sorry to say Discovery is a pale imitation of the greatness of the past.
