Description of the incident:

I spawned as a CL Survivor on the afforementioned round, and we proceeded to hold North-east LZ1. We have successfully managed to hold for about twenty-two minutes until the Queen and her T3s showed up for surv hold siege. Someone deployed a greenflame improvised firebomb, which I ran into with the intention of doing as much damage to the Queen as possible to entice her to retreat. I ended up getting neuro-stunned by a Boiler and my flame was eventually put out by a Ravager, to presumably cap me afterwards. I eventually ended up getting crit right next to the LZ1 Landing area, dropping my shotgun (this could perhaps be relevant if there are logs showing this - as it could be relevant in the way of showing where I ended up getting critted).

Afterwards, I believe I was dragged by the Lurker from the tile adjacent to the cockpit, into the DS gib zone (right next to the cockpit window), moved me three tiles West and dropped there, in the gib zone. Whether they intentionally dropped me under the DS (being crit prevents you from seeing [X Grabbed you!] logs) or I died before they could move me out of the way I do not know, but I assume the former.

Evidence:

I initially ahelped this immediately as it happened, so I didn’t really get any screenshots with the expectation this was a cut and dry case: but the admin/moderator handling it ruled it as inconclusive, and instead told me to open a Player Report. Which I am doing now with the expectation that a more experienced staff member could pull something out of the logs to give a ruling on this.

They dragged you about 3-4 tiles away, and it was in the opposite direction of where you were downed, which generally is just the kind of movement xenos would take. While yes, it would be more logical to immediately rush NW, it’s possible to believe that they just weren’t thinking. Really sorry you got perma’d man, but if you want you should be able to join as a xeno!

Hello FlatulentIndustrialist and all,

After a review of the logs, as well as a review of some of the surrounding logs not included, it seems unlikely that you were the victim of deliberate mechanical exploitation. You were grabbed by the player in question and died under 2 seconds later. Based on where they dragged you from, where you ended up, and how long it took them to do it: that distance and direction is fairly consistent with them attempting to capture you. I’m sorry your round as a survivor was permanently ended by the incident, but it doesn’t seem as though the actions were deliberate; this player report is denied.
