Description of the incident:
Was the SO player that round, and Ren (XO) had to cryo for some reason. While he announced that he had to cryo multiple times, he made no effort to:
- Locate the Officer who is supposed to take over (Would be ASO, but he missed that the ASO has cryo’ed).
- Ensure said officer has USCM Senior Command Access.
- Ensure the transfer of the Command Tablet to said officer.
Ren has cryoed with the tablet, which had to be recovered by the new XO, post-evac, roughly half an hour before the original XO cryo-ed.
In absence of the ASO, I had to frantically take over the operation, avoiding the Chain of Command and SOP to keep the operation from falling apart without communication - we needed the Operation Announcements as we did not have any comms.
