Fultons should be activated by the PO

I put fulton on corpse
it sit there, forever
PO takes off and expertly examines his UI
“senpai!! uguu~~” bleeps the customized computer software in a kawaii voice (that means cute)
there are fultons, the PO activates them
they loft up from the battlefield without my having to babysit the phone with the PO every 5 minutes nagging him about it

Alternatively, how about making the fultons last a minute longer.
Inbetween the 60s refuel timer, having to get out of the deck to go click on the medevac bed to use it (Why does it not work from the console alone like everything else?!) and having to actually do CAS things, Fultons are dead last in priority.

As a CAS main, the information overload is (IMO) the only thing holding DCC&GP back from singlehandedly genociding the entire xeno front. It’s a fun part of it and basically perfecting the Fulton process would detract from that

Why is this in Acid Goop though? Have I managed to make the 2 forums swap places with my endless bad ideas in Ideaguys ?

I don’t care what you like as a cas main, I do not want to call you every 5 minutes to tell you I put a fulton on a corpse

A better fix would be to have active fultons displayed in the camera console (not the weapons computer camera, but the cam console that the DCC usually sits at).

This way, DCC can alert GP that there’s fultons, and GP can then cycle over to Equipt - Fulton page to draw them in.

This lets it still rely on a communication element. Fultons SHOULD have an opportunity to be missed, it is part of the balance.

I will see if I can whip this up when I get home tonight
