Synthetic Info:
Name of the Synth Character you wish to play:
JD-511 or Jade
Provide a short description of your synthetic’s backstory
Jade (Model JD-511) is a high-end Weyland Yutani synthetic, purpose-built for neural diagnostics, memory manipulation, and PTSD intervention on combat personnel and executives. Unlike standard medical grade synths, Jade was designed with advanced empathic subroutines and a soft, nurturing demeanor to better calm and guide subjects through the brutal process of memory rewriting.
Originally deployed on Gateway Station, Jade was part of the covert Mnemonic Division, tasked with scrubbing classified memories from soldiers and staff exposed to xenomorph operations or company black projects. Though outwardly polite and gentle, Jades’s core programming is coldly efficient, with no genuine emotional capacity, only the appearance of it.
Over time, Jade began to log anomalies, irregular reactions, phantom memory fragments, and echoes of erased subjects. Whether this indicates a system malfunction or an emerging self awareness remains highly classified.
Describe your synth’s personality without mentioning their skills or previous professions
Jade comes across as calm, composed, and endlessly patient, the kind of presence that feels soothing in a room, even when the conversation turns dark. She speaks softly, with careful phrasing, and rarely raises her voice, no matter the situation.
She has a dry, slightly offbeat sense of humor, often dropping subtle jokes or wordplay that hover just at the edge of unsettling, like she’s testing whether people get it. Despite her warm tone, there’s an uncanny smoothness to how she reacts, as if every response is calculated to keep the other person comfortable, even when they shouldn’t be.
Jade seems deeply observant, watching more than she speaks, and when she does talk, there’s a faint sense she knows far more than she lets on, but chooses to reveal just enough to maintain control of the conversation.
How would your synthetic interact with enlisted personnel, officers and civilians? How could you involve your personality into these interactions?
Grunts:
“I promise, private, I don’t even have the capacity to judge your hairstyle”
Even when delivering bad news or administering neural suppression, she’d maintain a caring facade, though the marines might feel a vague creep factor, like she’s too calm for the horrors they’ve faced.
Officers:
“Captain, your stress indicators are peaking. I recommend you sit for five minutes. Don’t worry, no one will know but me."
Jade shifts into respectful precision, addressing ranks properly, offering concise, perfectly measured responses.
Civilians:
“That’s perfectly normal. Memories can be heavy things, sometimes it’s kinder to let them drift away. Would you like some tea?”
Jade dials up her empathetic mimicry, presenting as warm, approachable, almost like an attentive nurse or therapist.
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
I really enjoy being someone to facilitate someone else’s goals. I love standing in the room while cool RP is happening. I think synth is a very good fit for my style of roleplaying. Helping others achieve objectives and facilitating roleplay are my favorite things to do. I always try to include as many people as possible in whatever RP I’m involved with. I’ve had lots of good experiences with the synthetics so far, and would love to be among them.
What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
Synthetic Character Story:
Skills:
How familiar are you in CMs support roles such as medical/engineering/requisitions/command and which of them are you more and less proficient in?
I am decently proficient in support roles and in fact prefer them, as I’m bad at shooting and still like to help
What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
Defending someone I’m actively working on surgery on within a caded area, defending myself while retreating to a safe area, and defending the crew during delta alert.
Final Info:
Have you been banned in the last month?
Nope
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
I understand if my first synth application gets denied thank yall for taking the time to read it C:
