please give us options. what if we didnt have to wait for whiskey outpost and could vote it every 3 rounds? what if we could vote for HvH every X rounds. options plz, distress beacon is cool and all but it can get so so so so so boring

this is bad for both well, variety and development - how much info you will get by running it so rarely

i still laugh about the free for all in the dark (i have no idea what its referred to as) it was close to dead pop, but flickering the lights and trying to stab each other was good fun. I cant believe the most evil door shocker won
I know people shit on HVH very often but its my favorite mode tbh, maybe just because ive only got to play it a dozen or so times over my years but there’s just something about it that’s amazing for me.
I love getting to larp as UPP or CLF, even though you are likely to lose as CLF there is nothing better than pulling off a successful ambush or screaming death to the USCM.
We had this one event where we were on solaris and playing as CLF insurgents, we weren’t actually given any guns, we were just regular colonist. But the experience of holding a meeting in the bar and agreeing to form a militia and to raid the armoires around the map was an experience i will never forget. No one told us to do it, no admin said this is the objective, we just did it of our own free will and thats something that i miss every so often.

I think playing as different factions could be a cool way to mix up the game modes.
like one round play as the CLF and establish a base camp and you have to hold off xenos, or you play as WY PMCS and have to set up different power sources and restore facilities faster than xenos infest them
