I think that the CC, in his small dimly lit office drinking straight out of his whiskey glass, is closer to a detective than the CL is. Not really sure what more to say, more options are usually good and Correspondent is a bit lacking in outfit options compared with the liaison. At least the grey trench-coat that matches his fedora.
