What is your Synthetic’s Personality?
Kessler prioritizes being a listener for the people around him, allowing them to share their thoughts without judgement nor concern. Of course, he’ll know when to be a bit more serious in more dire situations, dragging and healing marines whenever possible to ensure their survival. He’ll talk obviously, but in brief sentences, except for times when he’s been ordered to speak more often by an officer, or when a situation requires immediate attention. Kessler has slowly been learning about Astrology, and has taken an interest to it.
How will they react to the different ranks of the USCM, what would they talk about in a one on one conversation? What are their interests? What is an advertisement logline that could be written for them?
Kessler will always treat marines with respect, no matter what rank they may be, even the cook! Though he’ll acknowledge that officers are higher than enlisted, and should be treated with reverence. Kessler will often and try and listen in on conversations the Marines have between one another, simply to learn about them. When partaking in a conversation himself, Kessler will try and talk about how the marines’ day has been going so far, and if theres anything he can do to help. Though, once they start talking more, he’ll slowly shift the talk into something about Astrology, attempting to see if the person he is talking with is interested in it at all, even if it’s just a little bit.
If I could think of an advertisement for Kessler, it’d be “Fuel your inner star, with Kessler.”
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
I’ve always admired the Synthetics, especially the survivor ones. Whenever I die, i check to see if theres a working joe or a Synth active, as they’re just pretty cool. I want to expand my abilities to conduct operations, while also setting a RP personality for a singular character that isn’t simply Company Liaison. And frankly, I believe Synthetic is a perfect start. I’m able to be active every day, and I’ve given the synthetic guidelines read overs multiple times.
Whenever I’m on a marine squad role, I can goof off yeah, or even shove people down and do *scream or *warcry for fun, but I know when to be serious, and to stop messing around.

What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
I don’t really see Synthetics often, so It’s hard to tell. Usually after I die or get unrevivable it’s when I notice a Synthetic or Working joe.
As a result I want to try and provide others a good experience with my Synthetic character
Synthetic Character Story:
It was about 10:37A.M Military time, when Kessler is awakened and called to the medical bay on LV-624. Calmly and Stoically, Kessler made his way to the medical may, he was informed that there was someone who was waiting for him in the Psychiatric ward. Opening the airlock, he saw a marine, Private Leo McGrath. Deciding to sit next to him, the Synthetic interlaced his fingers, and leaned forward next to him. He could already tell that the Private was experiencing some mental trauma.
As the marines legs shook nervously as he was sitting, Kessler asked him “Do you want to talk about it?” No response, this was to be expected of course, though he wanted to make sure if the marine wanted to speak. “I want you to know that you aren’t the first.” That seemed to do the trick, Private McGrath took a deep breath, exhaling with an exhausted sigh. “I’ve only been serving for just 5 months… It’s just- I don’t feel like I can handle this… The Colonial Liberation Front recently launched an attack and…” Pvt. McGrath stopped there, both of his eyes getting teary, his breathing getting heavy. Kessler understood emotion, but he didn’t feel it, from what he understood, it’s important to calm anyone experiencing a breakdown. Slowly, the Synthetic placed his hand on the Privates shoulder, grabbing him gently.
“It’s okay to feel this way, it’s what makes people human.” Kessler made sure the marine knew this, then the Private started crying… Rubbing and patting the privates back, Kessler simply said…
“It’s gonna be okay.”

What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
Synths ARE NOT allowed to use firearms or weapon placements (such as mortars), but are allowed to use nonlethal means to handle a situation that needs attention, and lethal if guidelines permit so. Below I will provide a list of scenarios that would allow me to perform combat.
- A xenomorph is attacking you while you are trying to get to the FOB alone. What do you do?
First, I make sure that it is trying to KILL me, and that there are no other Marines or other people in the area to help me., if I have a weapon on hand (such as a fireaxe or machete), I am allowed to fight back to preserve myself. If needed I can chase the xenomorph to scare it away, I SHOULD NOT be chasing it for an extended duration, if the enemy disengages I must return to what I was doing before I was getting attacked.
- A CLF agent is onboard and shooting at people, including yourself, what do you do?
First, I will try to follow self-preservation guidelines, not going out in the open for too long or for no reason. Second, if the body of a dead marine is already near me, I can drag it to safety if I am sure it will not put others or myself in harms way or at risk of being killed. If the CLF agent is actively chasing or attacking me, since they are an enemy faction I am able to non lethally subdue them, or even kill them if need me. BUT, since they are risking the lives of USCM personnel, I am allowed to put myself into an active combat duty, taking down the agent by any means, then zip-tying them before handing them to the MP’s.
- As a working Joe, there is an intruder in your core, what do you do?
I would first verbally warn the intruder to leave the core, if they refuse however, I am permitted to use nonlethal means to subdue them and drag them out. Although, if they resist or fight back, then I am allowed to use lethal force, however, they should still be alive if possible, as to preserve the spirit of the WL and RP. Afterwards I will have to report and record the incident to APPOLOLINK (as any incident resulting in a Joe using force is required to be reported if outside hijack)

I’ve always loved CM13, ever since I joined around 2021-2022, I’ve grown attached to the community and the game itself. After returning from a break, I still find my self enjoying every round I can. I will forever be honored to have discovered this server.
