Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?

There are some pretty awesome people on the staff team I know in the community who from what I’ve seen enable so much cool stuff for everyone else. I want to try the same. I’ve been playing CM since 2019 but only more recently from 2022, and I think as a more recognizable person, if I’m trusted to, I could help make some CM rounds that much better beyond what I try to do regularly in game.

What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)

I think with my experience in the community so far over the years, knowledge of the setting, good notes history (i have only one and its by biolock themself), and what I think is at least OK community standing, I could do the role pretty well.
I also like to think I have incredible patience and restraint from playing this for so long, and while sometimes in the past I’ve let loose, I think I’m self-aware enough to be controlled if part of the staff team moving forward.

In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?

Being able to see things to the best of your ability from someone else’s POV. To be in “someone else’s shoes”. Be it a victim, perpetrator, anything. It is good to have other viewpoints.

Seen and interacted with Hunter “Stafford” Stanford plenty of times and they had great roleplay. Goshflipheck has had the CO whitelist and has been on the CO council for what seems like forever at this point and is one of the most respected command/marine mains on the entire server. The player base will be lucky to have them as a staff member. +1

+1, Its always great to see Hunter in game as both marine and xeno. He’s proven to be knowledgeable on both sides and will be a boon to our community as staff.

Actually though, I believe you know how to handle yourself from what i’ve seen from your CO councilor actions, so yeah +1.

Goshflipheck has a good head on his shoulders and is great at keeping his cool. He’s a long time player and valuable member of the community. I think it’d be a slip up NOT to approve a moderator application from him.
