While that event was made to be as chaotic and horrific logistically as possible, that was just because… it was supposed to be run during Halloween. What do you think should be done if I do an ACTUAL Greenshift? With RP? Maybe on Hybrisa, spawn tons of Colonists, let you do stuff like RP at Weymart or Cuppa Joes. That one was just made to be pain for Halloween and was run late. What do you think the next potential Greenshift should have?

Yeah, if I run a serious one odds are it’ll have a pre-done plot, have stuff set up, and the map cleaned up. This was made to be a hellish experience for everyone, the next one won’t be.

in this case it was intentionally chaotic and goofy but generally speaking being setup for a chill round and then suddenly lol people are randomly getting shot and perma’d by CLF with their lights off is not an enjoyable experience, I had the fortune of surviving but I imagine our squad SG who got murdered and permad like 5 minutes after drop probably didnt have such a great time.

Have it be a city with a High command office. All the enlisted can do whatever but officers are called to go in front of a general or something and explain what happened in xyz operation where they was forced to nuke.
Could also do a corporate office thats trying to get people to transfer from the marines to PMC.

I was CLF cell commander and tried RPing with Marines. I alongside the group of CLF I was with held back with our gear because we wanted to try and RP.
But then Marines started blasting… We had to fire back to save our lives… And the Command sent more marines… And then Marines started blasting… And then we had to fire back to save our lives… And then Command sent more marines… And then-

If I had a nickel for every person who claimed I was pretending it was intended to be a failure intentionally… despite all the warning in advance… I’d have TWO nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
Odds are I’ll either do a Chinook Station greenshift or Hybrisa with actual plot next time, this was just chaos for chaos’ sake.
