Appeal
I’d like to start by saying that from the time of my unban to my re-ban, I did not insult a single staff member. As for “accusing” staff, the only thing I said was that a staff member posted AI porn in last round chat, which they objectively did in fact do (twice).
Other than that, this ban reason is so broad, a month and a half later I still have no clue who I “insulted” and what exactly constitutes “poor behaviour in the community” when I was just talking to people the way they were talking to me.
All I really can do is post pictures proving the statement that a staff member did in fact post AI porn in LRC and hope someone finally realises how stupid this ban is.
These two statements are contradictory. You’re going from not knowing what you did, to having some idea of what.
Secondarily, I wouldn’t exactly class those as porn. They’re pretty heavily censored, and I remember him getting a bonk to use a bit more discretion, anyway.
You’ve got a pretty long, storied history of handling things poorly and expressing yourself in a way that, frankly, makes you an asshole at times. I addressed this with you years ago, and at the time you said you had no intention of changing. I’ll give that, for a while, you did improve roughly last year or so, but your history further back doesn’t lend you much credibility that you didn’t fall back on your old ways. Couldn’t even tell you how often you came up to the razor’s edge of being perma’d in the past as it was.
They’re not contradictory at all, it’s a pretty heavy reach to say so. My best guess at what I did is the only thing I can classify as an “accusation”, but where is the insult here? He did it, I said he did it. Is that an insult? The reason for my confusion in my ban reason is there’s a bunch of random shit thrown into it that the discord manager outright refused to explain or address, even saying “I’m not replying because I don’t care” to me directly.

A censored image doesn’t change its nature, it’s objectively a pornographic image. The acceptability of the images isn’t even relevant, the only thing that matters is that I said someone did something that they factually did and that was considered “crossing the line” enough to warrant a permanent ban apparently.
