What is your Synthetic’s Personality?
Salim is a first-generation synthetic, top-of-the-line model manufactured by Egypt under the Three World Empire.
While he’s primarily focused on vehicle maintenance, Salim extends beyond the garage. as he can assist with a wide range of maintenance and repair duties, from basic repairs to complicated overhauls on your everyday ride!
Salim carries the personality of a grumpy, unimpressed father, his voice often a low rumble, but deep down lies a sense of pride and passion for his work.
How will they react to the different ranks of the USCM, what would they talk about in a one on one conversation? What are their interests? What is an advertisement logline that could be written for them?
Salim is a simple worker type; he will refer to his superior officers as “yes boss, and no boss.” He will treat them with the respect they are due.
As he sees officers as the managers and leaders, those who plan missions, provide orders, and assign tasks.
As for marines, he often refers to them as “kids” or “boys,” pointing out the fact that he sees all the marines as less experienced who need guiding. Salim will always be talking about his work, and likes to impart wisdom and guidance on everyone.
Why do you want to be a synthetic/why should we whitelist you?
Synthetic is a special role in my eyes; being a synth will put me in a lot of roleplay situations to make the game way more interesting.
I want to be a synth because I think I can utilize the role to prove how skilled I am overall, from maintaining the FOB and building barricades to offering medical help and offering surgery for those who are in need.
What is your most memorable interaction with a synthetic?
I remember that one round I was wandering alone trying to make my way to the SL; I stumbled upon a Sam.
And 2 xenos showed up; they ganged up on me as I bled. I started to shoot; as I was shooting, I shot Sam by mistake and missed all of my shots.
She carried me on her back and rushed towards the FOB, and she offered her medical aid.

Engineering:
I’m extremely familiar with the engineering, from maintaining the FOB to repairing the comms tower. I make sure I always have metal sheets; by gathering some from the battlefield or disassembling objects for metal, I make sure I get an extra layer of barricades and upgraded barricades depending on what the enemy does. I’m also able to build a watchtower.
Command:
This is my least played role, but I’m familiar with all the basics, from announcing to the ship and groundside to making new IDs and changing squads. I can change the security alert and call for evac, opening the armory and drawing on maps to make planning easier for marines to understand.
Medical:
I’m good with medical work, always rushing and dragging the injured to the back lines, giving pills, and putting splints on the broken limbs. I focus on a specific patient, making sure they are on their feet before moving out. I’m capable of doing ghetto surgery as well, so surgery tools or not, nothing is stopping me.
Requisitions:
When I started playing Colonial Marines, Cargo Tech was the first role I played as. I’m extremely familiar with requisitions and cargo, from supplying the marines with the supplies they ask for, like weapons cases, grenades, weapons attachments, supplies, and any and all other equipment needed. I am also good with supply drops and crates, making sure I get the FOB coordinates, send them what they need, like ammunition, metal sheets, lighting supplies like flares, and medical supplies, making sure I make everything that came from the elevator is stamped, and what is not needed gets back.
What are some scenarios that you can perform combat in? Give us a brief example.
Synthetic is allowed to do combat in very few situations.
Like the following examples.
Frontline combat is prohibited under all circumstances. When on the frontline, I am to stay back and tend to the wounded or build fallback points for marines to hold out on while retreating.
Backline has two examples.
Alone and with marines.
When alone or dragging someone incapacitated, I am allowed to defend myself and that marine to the best of my ability; if the enemy is escaping, I am to focus on the wounded marine and retreat to the nearest safe zone possible.
If I’m with a bunch of marines that are slowly dying to multiple backliners and are proving to be handling the situation poorly, I am to step in and help them fight back the attackers and seek shelter in a nearby safe area once again.
If I’m in the fob or comms and an enemy enters that area, I’m allowed to attack and even kill that enemy.
During delta alert or hijack, I’m allowed to chase and kill the attacker as I see fit. Although my self-preservation and the preservation of other life is key, I am still allowed to fight and help where I can.
