Howdy, I want to start this off with how I have nothing against ltnts I just felt that their punishment for me was unjust and very unreasonable. After consulting with grim (15 not the 14 guy) I have decided to create a staff report and I will give my best shot at explaining why I believe it was unjust, that round as MP I had performed two LRP actions according to the ban report with them listed as “not wearing a hat and refusing orders to wear a hat” and “multiple LRP comments about freeing a prisoner.” For the first one I would like to say I felt the CMP was joking the first time he ordered me to put a hat on as he was acting as a drill sergeant type yelling at me to put a hat on or else I could lose my brain, I told him that I didn’t have a brain I was a marine and he simply said I can see that and went back to the CO who was doing an appeal if I recall correctly. The second time is funny, because there was no second time he had simply told me “I’m placing you under arrest for insubordination as you directly disobeyed my orders” (If I may say this CMP also was a second LT not a first LT meaning they had less than ten hours on CMP) I took this as a “put your hat on or else” so I put a MP baseball cap on but he warranted me for arrest and I stupidly backed up so he listed me with running away from police as well, the report also listed I did not understand marine law however I believe I know marine law very well and at most this incident could be listed as accidently breaking ML. I believe ltnts took this and thought I had been told multiple times to put my hat on, however I was only told once and in a goofy drill sergeant manner.
My second LRP reason listed is just dumb, yelling “Free him!” two or three times to a dude in a cell or a dude being arrested is not making comments about freeing someone that is arrested, its a joke that a lot of people in the community use when they see a convict being arrested or prisoner that is arrested. I made no attempt to free either of the convicts while acting as an MP however I understand that this is probably not super favorable behavior coming from an MP so I will stop doing this if my report is accepted. I also need to list my jailbreak, to explain it simply the warden was making me and the other prisoner fight after he had almost been tackled to the ground by the other prisoner and I had to save him (I guess in hopes I would beat the other prisoner up or something? I have no idea.) The other prisoner came up to me and said lets gang up on him and get out of here, this (if I read the rules correctly) was perfectly within good reason for a jailbreak so we tackled him, stole his card, and left brig into maint tunnels (he was caught soon after and I had to ghost due to IRL reasons but I was never caught while active in game, and yes normally I would have cryoed but I was kinda a convict in that situation.) To add even more to the ghosting I absolutely had to go and I hope my apology got to you ltnts but I think you were finished for the most part listing my punishment so I hope its good between us. I would also like to state I was being sort of rude to ltnts and again I must apologize, I was in a grumpy mood and I should have been more respectful because you just want to make sure I don’t ruin the experience for others but I swear that nothing I did had the intent to do harm to anyone and nothing I did really did any harm to anyone (Wardens card got stolen but again I believe this was legal as even ltnts did not mention it in the ban report and it was also returned like five minutes after being stolen because the other prisoner had it when they were caught.)
My last thing I would like to address is how ltnts claims that I did not understand that what I did was LRP, maybe my point came across wrong however I was just trying to say that what I did was not as bad as ltnts was telling me it was, what I did obviously contained hints of LRP but I wasnt going around trying to free prisoners with words alone, I didnt even know the CMP was being serious with the hat order and again while I have nothing against you ltnts I think you handled the situation very much incorrectly. Overall I know I performed some very light LRP but honestly a job ban from MP? Even the one day ban was pushing it in my opinion but I’m willing to accept it as its not super unfair, however I have no note history (iirc) on MP and one note from three weeks ago on researcher about making space drugs that is completely unrelated to MP in any way and you prevent me from playing MP ever again, I think that is ridiculous and after a quick read of the rules I can say that its not justified in any way, you job ban people from MP for killing prisoners for no reason and acting super unfair and cruel as well as being an idiot not for wearing a red bandana instead of a helmet and jokingly exclaiming “Free him!” because while it is stupid and while it is something they should be told not to do it very much does not warrant such a punishment without lots of repeated cases.
Thank you for taking the time to read my ramble and please know that if this report is accepted I will be a lot more mindful when playing MP and I honestly appreciate ltnts for making attempts at cleaning up the MPs because its pretty bad right now but I promise to all of you I am not apart of the problem and my crimes were overstated greatly.

I don’t have access to any logs or screenshots that I could use as evidence for my case. Attempted to see if I could join the game after my ban and see if some of last rounds text was there but it wasn’t so I have to leave it up to you guys to pull the logs.
