I’ll admit I don’t play engie a lot these days. When I do engie, its usually for Echo squad, Forecon, or as a Survivor. When I am a squaddie marine, I usually pass by unnoticed which is fine.
All that said, I’ll start running engie more often, shake off some of this rust.
From the many times I’ve been around Reid, seeing him work, helping him, or otherwise, he’s always had a very cool and competent head on his shoulders when it came to both Gameplay mechanics and more roleplay intensive situations. He’d make a great addition to the synthetic lineup. +1.
Considered a god by medic players “especially me” and a great guy to spend time with. He has always been both helpfull and competent whenever i have had the pleasure of spending a round with them.
Hi HappyCrow and thank you for your interest in the Synthetic Whitelist.
Fore note: You will have to change your Synthetic’s name to Dyer. If you don’t like this name feel free to msg me!
The personality and interactions presented here is good to start with, we would like to see you take it a step further. Katskan had an excellent suggestion of adding an extra level by not just being a classic western-esque personality, but one of its subtypes such as a lawman. I like the rustic charms and also the funny prospective emotes, it adds a lot of character to Dyer. I love the vocabulary in any case.
The story was well written and although I would have personally liked to see a little more dialogue from Dyer it did a great job at showing his mannerisms and method of speech.
I like your motivations for becoming a Synthetic and it is indeed a good evolution for you! You are extremely mechnically competent, a support focused player and you conduct excellent RP.
Skill answers were curt and although short, I think you answered them with honesty. You could have elaborated some more on the capabilities of each, but I liked that you did extra review just to make sure you have the core concepts of cmd/req down, and furthermore you have done extensive work in relevant support roles.
Combat answers were solid and you showed a good understanding of Synthetic programming. I would say your Duty to Care is laudable but also inapplicable - however many Synthetics choose to exercise that optional responsibility. That’s because technically foreign non-official or affiliated combatants are not under the protections of Marine Law. However as I said, ethically, many Synthetics have personalities who will save as much human life as possible.
The support for your application was astounding and you are certainly up there with the list of ‘those’ Corpsman players. It is time to elevate your skills and RP to the next level.
We would like to warmly welcome onboard Dyer to the USS Almayer!
