so with the new hellhound sprite and rework are we going to get hellhounds channel on discord so we can alert predators there is a player waiting to become hellhound?

Also as a coordinator maybe you should consider it for those who easily have anxiety about applications, especially the very intimidating predator whitelist (or it seems that way to me). Personally I would like to join the whitelist but I have no personal confidence in my story writing. I dont write books nor am I a professional author. I would like a hellhound channel on discord for this reason, but I understand if the answer is no. To just say no and spike it down and just tell me âgo get the WLâ seems kinda like a cop-out for a real reason.

Unfortunately, this isnât a good idea:
A) hellhounds are not an every round experience for preds, as without staff intervention the normal pred round will not have these, they are kept within the secure armory that does not normally open unless a Predalien is made
B) people will abuse the knowledge that it is a pred round, as they have in the past, to take their âanti-predâ load outs and go hunting using this meta knowledge (this has happened before with certain players)

But with the new hellhound sprite rework, hellhounds have been coming out more and more. I know a certain Ulâuan clan leader has had packs of 3-4 hounds just for the hunting ground
I donât think they are locked into that secure armory anymore. Iâve also seem them out for Youngbloods to dual/practice with

Hey there, thanks for the comment.
Unfortunately, I can confirm that the beacons are not readily available, do not appear in the vendors for preds, what you may be seeing is an increased use of them because the new sprites and stuff, so staff are willing to give them out in concurrence with the youngblood stuff to let people test out and play.
The beacons are normally in the secure armory, which may be where someone has been getting them, else staff intervention (I have personally given a beacon or two out for preds myself)
In either case, I am still against a channel that pings everyone when a pred round is active as it will be used to meta and spoil things for everyone

People abusing the pred round notifications ruins it for everyone else sadly

If you are wanting help with Pred app. The WL Help channel on Discord is the way to go. They even helped my dumb ass when I was considering applying for CO.
