Yeah I never understood this, especially due to the repurcussions of handing out fake money can do to you should you be found out. I doubt that years in the future the IRS as a agency somehow disappeared; if fact they’d probably be stronger due to having to deal with interstellar tax fraud and would most likely have their own standing army OR be able to authorize the deployment of things like the USCM to deal with tax fraud of colonies and private individuals too powerful to be dealt with by normal sanctions.

The XO signed an NDA with a hidden term of giving myself CONSTANT access to ARES to make it spout WY advertisements for 100 years.
