Description of the incident:
First off, this is the first time I ever make a report to forgive me for any inconsistencies, I will try my best.
Marines have evaced from the FOB. That round I was a CMO and I was busy treating, if my memory is correct, CL who was on board alamo when it evaced, for fracture and IB. While I was busy, for some reason Alamo redeployed but not as hijack, I heard on radio that someone rogue deployed but I am not sure what really happened. Nevertheless, when I check the TV mounted in medbay, I see my field doctor Alice White on board. My IC reasoning is that redeployment, especially not authorized by CIC, and from my observation not many marines, is unsafe for medical staff to do - field doctor should remain on Almayer and deploy once FOB has been reestablished. The alamo was in transit, and from my game knowledge the radios between whoever is on board dropship and Almayer still works. I radio Alice in first sentence asking why the hell is she on the redeployment and, now here my memory is not 100% sure, but I believe I expressed in second sentence my disapproval of her action and told her to get back shipside as soon as she can. IC I was not sure if there is enough marines to protect field doc and I knew the communications will be gone once touchdown happens - if I had more time I would explain that she was to return if LZ is unsecure or remain if otherwise, but that I didnt, so I just told her to get back as soon as she can (I really wish I had logs for this sorry). Alamo landed, marines got surrounded and after brief fight Alamo launched en route to Almayer. In the meantime, I believe I was talking with Jasper the MP that round, how I want Alice arrested for breaking SoP but we both werent sure if redeployment in unsafe conditions breaks SoP or ML so it didnt go nowhere. When alamo landed, I was again busy with reviving. Then a second redeployment happened, I rushed to Alamo, saw Alice and shouted to get off the dropship as she is not allowed to leave, she did unbuckled and moved around, so I give her the benefit of the doubt that she did try to leave. I will also OCC give her the benefit of the doubt that during first redeployment she didnt notice my radio messages. I then tell Jasper that this time this definetly qualifies at least as insubordination cuz IC she did not stay on board Almayer when I told her via radio during first redeployment. We discuss the matter, Jasper tell me he will seek the CO opinion of this but I do not been contacted by CO/XO to overrule my decision whatsoever. Now marines hold better that last time but they still lost and Alamo returned for final time before hijack, with Alice on board. I then got Alice attention trying in authoritative manner as her deparment head, to explain my dissatissfaction with her actions - I wasnt sure then what I want to do, but I hoped that we could RP this out and reach an conclussion. Unfortunately, Alice didnt want to lisen to me, when I started talking she said (you can find that fortunately with chatlogs I have attached) “I need when I need ]” and leaves. I catch up to her, annoyed and angry Ic for her behavior in front of her boss, tell her I am not done talking with her and to that she responds “I dont care boi” and runs off again. At that point I was sure that if anything this counts for DASO so I radioed Jasper on command channel to arrest her. I also started to crash out in LOCC chat since people LOCC asked me what happened, I also hoped that I can seek community guidance if i should player report field doc for such behavior since I have never done so. In the middle of it Jasper runs up to me after he point at me and tells me that Alice has cryoed.
Now I am not entirely sure what rules did field doc break but in my gut feeling her behavior is not to community expectations. As a player here, I believe even chaotic and wrong actions in game can be with a little of RP turned into enjoyable momments for both parties - I was totaly willing to not order and arrest of field doc, nor player report them, if they would show intent to RP with me and talk this out. If I was in her situation I would perhaps convince CMO how sometimes you have to break the rules to set things right or that she was combat stressed and did not acknowledged my orders. Her behavior instead was direspectful to me both IC and OCC, leaving mid conversation and then cryoing shows she was not willing to provide anything in return and simply does what she wants to do, uncarring how this affect others.
I am still not sure of if my judgement is correct here. Any feedback comments are appreciated. I also had difficulties thinking which rulebreak the reported player broke, I was stuck between Rule 2 and Rule 3. My sincere apologies if this is wrong and broken rule was not rule 3 but rule 2, or no rules at all were broken and this was purely IC issue, making this report invalid. My thanks to a staff that is going to handle this.
