This is a new item, available to IOs purchasable for between 5-15 pts. A pack a special flares. These flares are sleek and universally camouflaged. They can be ignited almost silently and give off a dim red light to regular viewers. They interfere with NVGs when viewed with night-vision enabled. They provide a CAS signal and a camera feed on the intelligence OW. They provide the co-ordinate of the tile they are sitting on. They are hard to see in weeds and other environs unless in an extremely dark area viewed with any night vision ability.

CAS cannot run FMs on these flares weapons systems are unusable when the Infra-red camera that views them is enabled interferes with running FMs.

so basically hidden camera shell that ios can drop at will for mortar to plab xenos with HE later or for command to drop a super-easy ob

where do i even begin to explain how bad this is for balance

just use camera mortar shell idk

xeno skill issue. just look for it. it’s easily countered by just… using normal vision as a xeno.
