I know this is an outstandingly stupid idea that would never work but the thought entertains me so much that I have to share it.

What if a bunch of players got like super cheap secondhand fax machines irl and IC faxed each other during a round.

We could just replace in-game phonepacks with portable fax bags, like the CC one. Imagine req sending you a requisition form groundside, asking for SL’s signature (he’s dead); or CIC denying reinforcements because you made a typo in your fax
