Description of the incident:

Dixon and another survivor were roaming on Hybrisa. Dixon kept placing down a fire sentry from their bag, would then chase down xenos with an axe, and would then pick up the sentry when we got close. Once the survivor died they began moving into various choke points placing down the turret, and attacking any xenos that got close. I ended up dying to this when they ran into a dead end room with a single entrance and placed the turret to try kill both me and a spitter that were chasing him.

Using a turret like this is against the rules for standard synths since it bypasses the whole not using a gun thing, but it’s not clear in the rules if synthvivors have the same limits. They also had plenty of opportunities to retreat back to the survivor hold in medbay once the survivor they were with died, but instead chose to do this.

I think you used the wrong RID; there are no logs for this player for 30001 and it was not hybrisa.

I think forest messed with the round ID after skipping WO. Could be 30002 or 30000? I’m not sure.

So, just to be clear I never used the turret in an offensive manner and the way you construe this as me frontlining with the turret is malicious at best.

Octavian and I ran to the IASF headquarters, xenos had chased us, Octavian fell outside, I was inside behind a layer of double doors. I set a turret there, well out the range of xenos, behind two double doors. Xenos werent even in my screen when I put it down. I ran out to see if I could see Octavian, I couldn’t. I decided to wait a bit, repairing myself behind the cover of the turret. Two spitters pushed in, one got hit by a flame and I pushed it out, then saw that Octavian was getting tackled, I couldn’t do anything as he was swarmed so I ran back in, he died shortly after.

After he died, I packed up the turret and cut my way out of IASF headquarters by deconstructing a wall to the east. I had planned on running to medbay, but a lurker came from that direction and instead I had to run north, where you and the spitter were.

The two of you then chased me into a corner, and I set up the flame turret in the corner of the room to cover myself as would’ve cut out of it. The locks couldn’t be opened because the APC was powered. You proceeded to rush me in the corner, I am stuck in a 1x2 corner and you are slashing me. I begin to hit you with my fireaxe, you begin to run, seeing my opportunity for escape I push out while hitting you eventually retreating out onto the street. However, I am so heavily damaged I have synthetic paincrit, for those who dont know, all it takes from this point is 1 or 2 acid spits and you’re dead. So I decide instead of venturing out onto weeds, I went into room number 2, and repaired myself. However, unbenownst to me, the queen had built reinforced resin walls outside when I was inside repairing myself, eventually leading to my doom as the spitter spat at me in the corner of the room.

To summarise, I deployed the turret in a defensive manner and never used them with the intent to kill xenos. I deployed the turret twice that round, the way you construe the lie that I “kept placing down a fire sentry from their bag” and “chase down xenos with an axe,” is factually incorrect. The only reason you died was because you suicided while bodyblocking me inside. You bodyblocked me in the corner marked with the with white and STILL kept bodyblocking me while on fire with blue flames, getting shot at by the turret, and me axing you on the green X trying to leave.

For the record, myself, Octavian, and Lynn were constantly asking over the radio where the other survivors were. They had never told us they were holding medbay. Maybe they said the single isolated word “medbay” randomly over the comms, but they had never told us they were holding there and I made it clear in my radio chatter. Not that that’s even relevant to this, even though you felt inclined to add that in your report.

Sorry, I’m not trying to be malicious, I’m just going off limited information. I couldn’t have known that you didn’t know where the survivor hold was or that you got cut off and backtracked. From my point of view you doubled back after getting away and led us into a dead end room, which came across as you trying to pull us into a position we couldn’t dodge the turret.

If you were just defending yourself, I made a questionable play and got myself killed so I’m happy for the report to get removed.

we did look into the logs for this beforehand and they more or less align with medeelel18’s telling of events.
