I have heard admins play Sabaton over the rounds and I wonder if we are ok with Sabaton cause I have a couple of suggestions for FOB siege.

Yes? Nobody cares if you play some music to your friends, and this also applies if “your friends” is a hundred people on some obscure game made in an ancient engine.

I was under the impression that we had copyright issues and thus couldn’t play certain songs ig nor make cassette tapes
The reason cassette tapes are murkier is that they have to be hosted on the server (more accurately, they’re held in the config file so they’re not on the github) in some way, I believe - it’s different. Admin sounds, on the other hand, either draw from an MP3 on the admins computer or from a youtube link - it’s not actually hosted on the server.
Technically it probably downloads it in some way and in practice it doesn’t really matter but that’s how it was explained to me on other servers. Even then it’s usually preferential to not use them since it toes the line of copyright, but admin sounds are a lot rarer than cassettes are.
