Description of the incident:

During the round, a scuffle had broken out on the ship between the last surviving colonist and the Weyland Liaison and security guard. The Liaison and guard had holed up within the office, which was breached by the CO, The survivor, the chief engineer, an SO, and the synthetic survivor, me. The door in which the liaison and guard were hiding were opened by me, at which point a brief conversation started before the guard attempted to flee, trying to utilize pepper spray to cover his escape. While restraints were being put on the guard after they were nonlethally tackled down, Major Fleming battlefield executed him, permanently killing him. I’m not terribly fond of suspensions or outright bans from a whitelist, but I feel there has to be an official note and warning to be more restrictive on what is permissible with a gun that can immediately stop someone’s playtime.

Hi there, while I agree with you that sending individuals to the brig over Battlefield Executing them is preferable, that does not mean this execution was not valid. This Corporate Bodyguard shot up the CIC in a round with no MPs, assaulted the CO with pepper spray, and tried to run away. A video of the incident shows that the CO had opened fire on the bodyguard following this and stunned them with a high impact round, they were not nonlethally tackled down. A non-MP, let alone a survivor synth from the colony, placing cuffs on an individual in the process of being BE’d does not make a BE invalid nor inappropriate.

No action will be taken against the CO for this incident.
