Description of the incident:
During the test of new LV-624 groundmap I’ve captured a marine in the backline and started bringing him to hive. Meanwhile the marine was fighting back fiercely, bringing me down to less than half health multiple times and firing slugs from his shotgun to no avail. As I reached the hive marine in question managed to finally stab his way out of me, but got captured cause there were others in hive. I saw slugs falling out of his pouch earlier and told him in LOOC to not use slugs cause they suck. The way I said it was crude, yes, but it never meant to insult anyone.
Later on in the round I was PMed by a moderator, telling me I was toxic, mocking a player after round removing him and using LOOC to bypass language limitations set by the game. I have cleared everything up immediatly, while also apologizing if I have hurt the marine’s feelings, which fell on deaf ears.
In the rules it is clearly stated that giving advice via LOOC is not metacommunication and I have not said anything else about what happened in LOOC. If saying that slugs suck is not advice, is mocking AND is toxic, then I dont know what advice is. It’s also not stated anywhere in the rules that both teams cant converse with each other in LOOC, while the information they share isnt metacommunication and in the two years I have been playing CM actively this has never appeared as an issue. If the marine that I captured is reading this, I apologize again.

However, I’m more concerend that you used LOOC just to mock them. You also shouldn’t be using LOOC to communicate with another faction. I’ll be leaving a note on it.
Rule 3 - Community Expectations | As a drone was capturing someone. When the marine almost escaped, they were resecured by the drone.
