Kentaro Miura, a legacy

Berserk, is one of the greatest stories ever put to paper. We lost a true artist with Miura’s passing. I would like to know the community’s opinion on the man and his work.

Berserk was alright.

I think it’s like, reading Superman/Romeo & Juliet in the wake of the superhero/romance genre they built, in that by the time you get around to the original you’ve already spent time on the innovations.

It’s great. All other opinions are irrelevant and incorrect. I was lucky enough to discover Berserk in the 6th year of the 9 year hiatus. Hopefully we get an adaptation worthy of it. The friend of Muira’s that was partial inspiration is the one whose currently overseeing it’s completion, funnily enough.

Again, the 90s anime was budget, the 2010’s stuff was hilarious, but why not Acid Goop?

From Discussion to Acid Goop

Incorrect.

Fixed. I love the 90s series. The outtakes are outstanding.

Correct.

Also the sound track is top notch.

Berserk creator. Guts, Griffith, Eclipse.

Tell me this is not one of the best sound tracks of all time . https://youtu.be/f8FAnbz_BVA?si=Os5Gkxkh4Ce0cdRS

I randomly stumbled across the OG series on YouTube. Went in blind. God what id give to watch it again for the first time.

The music is the key factor. It uplifts the animation.

Such a great series.
