Description of the incident:

I was observing the round play out as a ghost after my death, when we noticed that while hivediving and within the Queen on Ovi’s field of view, the scout got hugged after standing too close to an egg. This was within the hive core’s zone as well.

The rule stating “Due to the Hivemind, Xenomorphs know everything every Xenomorph learns and know the basics of human equipment.” means that because the Queen can see the uncloaked and unconscious scout, lesser drones can act on it. When lesser drones did act on it however, despite it being next to the hivecore of all places, forest killed two and admin-slept the 3rd, allowing scout to destroy the hivecore and escape, which vastly shifted the balance of the round in marine favor since xenos could no longer nest captures or make structures.

This is a rather egregious case of admin abuse. This was not a scout who got hugged across the map that a lesser drone spawned and rushed to. This was the hivecore, and was next to the Queen. To add, xenos get a notification when someone is hugged, including the location. And given they are a hivemind, there is no reason a lesser drone cannot grab it since it was within the range of both the core and Queen.

Evidence:

Logs of admin actions in the round’s logs should be telling enough.

I’m likely going to be asleep before the round ends and this gets re-listed so I’ll respond now.

It makes absolutely no difference where on the map they were. A ghost saw them fall, spawned in, capped them and then immediately ghosted again.

That is categorically metagaming.

The argument of all xenos getting the message is irrelevant. It cannot be assumed that someone would have seen the message whilst playing in the round as many things happen constantly. Therefore seeing it as a ghost is considered metagaming.

Also you’re wrong, I killed none and slept none. The only admin actions I did was to release the scout and ban the offender.

no, just because living xenos would be aware of the hug, or because the queen would be aware, a lesser that spawns afterwards using ghost knowledge would not be permitted. no action taken, report denied
