Description of the incident:
I was playing as a CLF survivor on New Varadero. Me and 3 other CLF survivors were heading back to our hold to get my IB fixed. After I got my IB fixed the pred started a fight with our engineer. The pred killed the engi then stood around the body camping it. One of us tried to recover the engineer’s body but backed off due to a fireteam of marines approaching. The pred then waited next to the engi’s body and allowed the marines to drag him away, leaving us unable to recover him at all. I believe shortly after the pred hit one of the marines to crit then completely disengaged leaving the engi to be taken to FOB by marines and perma there. This put us at a huge disadvantage due to not having anyone able to repair our van anymore.
This was me, I was trying to recover gear and had a small fight with the CLF, that one person died to a marine who randomly stumbled onto the fight, I had killed them for this even warning them. The rule break is spirit of the whitelist but i’m not entitled to toss corpses back after I have killed someone. I was already on gear recovery so wiping the people carrying their body was the least of my concerns during the round.
I may be misunderstanding what you’re saying but I’m very sure that you killed the guy with your longaxe as I saw it happen from the hold using binocs, the marines came after you killed him then they dragged him away, it was also a small squad of marines and not just one
they was shot by the marine but yes they basically died to me, I had done majority of the damage. it still doesn’t change anything since this is a report for someone else and also corpses being returned are still to the judgement of me. I was doing gear recovery and it doesn’t make sense for me to hand back someone whom was actively preventing me from getting such, unfortunately that player’s round was cut short to roleplay instead of murdering random backliners.
i’m making this report because we were affected as a team, if it were a normal rifleman it would’ve been fine but it was our engi, this is also not about you having to give back the body, it’s about you letting the marines take his body away while camping it after you killed him
It doesn’t matter who died, if they are valid to kill they are susceptible to what happens, yes sometimes that includes death without return. This person died to me and normally I would return the corpse but as i’ve wrote out two times it was gear recovery and I am not there to influence a round outside of my own personal objectives. I would have tossed the corpse back if I wasn’t busy with the mask. You could have gone to rescue them but I suppose you can blame me as the problem, I was not giving that corpse on a velvet cushion I was just focused on other things. Hope this helps
As Donk said, it doesn’t matter who died. Being returned after being killed is completely up to the player who killed you. It is not something that should be expected from the pred player. I don’t see anything in this report that would suggest any honour code breaks; therefore, this report is denied.
