Concept and balancing: What this is is basically the ability to shoot a sidearm while downed. of course that alone would be just fucking OP by itself so it needs some balancing. For starters to be able to do this you need to either be shoved or thrown down or to be too injured to walk. In either case you will need a windup of say 2 seconds to pull out your sidearm with e. Once you do your firerate is reduced to avoid the classic M4A3 insta gib with runners as is you accuracy scaling with your pain. You have one mag and one mag only. You cannot reload while in last stand state but other than that you can use your sidearm normally.
Why I think it is good for the game: Well truth is I would like to see this more for the RP/immersion of spitting at my enemy’s feet even with my dying breath. To be in the verge of death, knowing it and yet showing the bastards defiance to the very end.

know what i really like this idea as it can allow for the push drag mooks to get what they are due. if you can’t get to hive before i can shank my way out and you have to push drag my sorry ass you should have to brave some lead.
Only if you let critted xenos slash and use their abilities

I’ve wanted humans to be able to draw and hold weapons while prone for a long time: whether because they’ve gone prone intentionally or been knocked over (though they’d drop the weapon they were holding when they got knocked over).
I think it would also be cool if xenos could still slash and use abilities while critted, it’d be nice for things to be able to fight to their last dying breath.

Easy idea for xenoes, is that they don’t go “crit” per say, but get the crit bar and move and attack a lot slower then when on regular health, while also losing hitpoints until they get on weeds (while also getting that slow crit heal when in “crit”). Albeit this would piss off a lot of people who wanna glory kill xenoes.
finally call of duty perks implemented in cm
