Get rid of the lesser tail stab and the ability to speak, it should be a pure bread support roll not a kamikaze tail stab.

Lessers are fine, literally just shoot them, i never have issues with them dont know why people keep complaining, they die to one PB or like half a spray from a mk1. Stop fearRPing

Lessers have had their ability to talk removed for the first several minutes of their life, so you can’t spawn in and immediately talk/point at something, meaning to earn the right to talk you need to live for a few minutes, by that point any meta information you may have is likely out of date.

If you believe someone is actually metagaming, as a lesser, hugger, or any role, you should ahelp them. We can’t investigate possible incidents of metagaming if no one reports them.

I think we should remove or nerf queen’s remote building, but give lesser drones sufficient amount of plasma to build instead.

I can confirm that I’ve often scared away one or two marines from comms as a single lesser, but if you think this is because lessers are too strong, I’m really sorry for you.

Lesser drones after absolutely gaming on a private (IB + broken limb). It’s also bullshit how they can capture marines.

Lesser tail stab does jackshit, and if you dumb enough to get hit by it… skrill issue?

all tailstab does is a 20% damage increase, 100% accuracy (You hit the bodypart you want to hit) and an extra tile reach.

So you are looking at like 14 damage every 7 seconds (Before armour). Very terrifying.

I find lesser drones are actually almost useless in a fight. At best you can be additional chaff to eat some bullets for an actual xeno, or cause some FF damage (a single M41 bullet does like 3x the damage of one lesser slash).

Instead I’ve found their greatest advantage is in weeding the map and building minor fortifications here and there. It’s especially handy for backliners, but difficult for lessers to actually help since you need a real drone to get the weeds started before lessers can spread it.

Not yet, but I watched how someone got taken as a cap by a lesser drone. Like talking about size comparison, how can it even do that.

yeah it’s more that rines are just highly susceptible to damage extending beyond raw brute. a bone break can seriously ruin a comms defense if a medic isn’t stationed there after 1-5 steps away from the cade to “safe splint”.

it’s literally impossible for a lesser drone to solo cap unless the marine doesn’t move at all. they have 4-6 tackles, meaning that it’s impossible to permastun a marine, they need to always:

  • Get 4 tackles done, stun marine

  • has to be a tackle strength of 3 (50% chance)

  • a tackle strength of 3 means the marine is stunned for 3 seconds, enough time for you to tackle four times.

  • do NOT attempt to GRAB OR DEVOUR, as both of those mean that you’re not able to get 4 more tackles off

  • repeat and hope that you manage to indefinitely get a 4 out of 6 tackle, along with a tackle strength of 3. anything less than this leads to the marine standing up and killing you.

If you get about 5-6 stabs with your knife when it vores you, you chestburst it. If you were already hugged, then i guess it takes the work of a runner, that instead dies 5 seconds latyer to buckshot PB.

I think lessers shouldn’t be allowed to spawn when non-nested marines are anywhere near the core.
Last night I witnessed a perfect sneak into an unguarded hive by a scout on BR, normally a very skillful move to get that far into backlines.
dchat started to talk about it and lots of ghosts went to the hive to watch the scout breaking eggs and going to free marines undetected with zero regular xenos or lessers at the hive - then suddenly multiple lessers began to instantly spawn right next to him and rush, trying to tackle before just bodypushing him into eggs for an instant cap.
Seemed completely unfair and very meta given the situation and fact that there were pylons. But any lesser could argue ‘oh I just spawned randomly haha’ in the situation. Should be a mechanical block.

Personally, I feel that lessers should be able to perceive anyone that steps on weeds, whether they be visible or not, since the weeds themselves are part of the hive mind.

The only thing I would add is that lesser and hugger should have a checkbox that you need to check before you can spawn as them, and it makes it so you can only spectate xenoes and weed tiles like queen eye while ghosted. And if you uncheck it you can’t spawn as either anymore that match.

I mean it makes both gameplay and cinematic sense, lesser are part of the hive that often serve as the last line of defense when marines get close (the lesser tide)
