As of title, let SL use a marker or something to designate a certain area to move, a specific enemy to attack, or an ability to use (lasing, grenading, etc). FTL will have a use as highly tactical marines glued to SL’s behind and able to pull off tight maneouvers. FTLs will not be obligated to follow SL’s markers if they are dying or out of ammo or the orders are really dumb, but if they are valid and the FTL is green they should be doing it.

Yes, we should totally replace people talking with each other with special order buttons so SLs don’t have to engage in unnecessary RP.
