But it would still not make any real sense.
Fully in favor of adding a rep (probably not replacing the CL because God itās already bad enough trying to roll CL on high pop without everyone fighting for all these different faction reps) for those other factions. CMB and TWE are fairly easy, maybe some guys from other UA agencies/military units too. CMB seems odd but also makes sense seeing as the Falcons are typically responding to these remote colonies where the CMB is the only UA authority, so itās a bit like the CL where they represent a group that the USCM is actively working with. VAI would be a bit odd since mercs probably arenāt gonna be allowed on a military ship and Wey-Yu would lobby against it pretty hard but also the allure of corporate subterfuge between the CL and VAI rep is hard to resist. UPP is a stretch, this is an actively serving ship and God knows the Marines would shoot them immediately, CLF probably not happening unless outside of events as is already usually the case.
Of course, Iām biased, Iād love more people to send faxes to. Especially the CMB, Iām a proud Marshal patriot. Would add more people for survivors to go talk to and/or get recruited by, CL might be more worried about NDAs if the survs can walk down the hall and go tell the cops exactly how the Company caused all of this. Seems fun.
I feel instead of CMB the United Americas Extrasolar Colonisation Administration would make more sense.
This probably would help facilitate some suprise inspections or some interesting scenarios. Kinda like the snobby space food critics that showed up that one minor event.
To be fair, I have seen a UPP representative onboard the ship before, but it was for a different reason which made more sense.
I just feel as if we have a lot of potential for interfaction RP thatās not really being used. We get ERTās and Hunting grounds which are both not good places for RP because you are about to get merked by xenos/preds
Well I mean their are nice UPP ERTās sometimes. At a point when they could easily kill all the marines sometimes they choose to save them. So I does not seem to off brand that this could happen on a more regular basis. Maybe it could be like how the US and USSR got along in the late 80s and 90s.
I was mainly speaking of when thereās UPP survivors, sometimes a UPP representative is sent to obtain them so this is something that has been done already to some extent.
Thats the dream, just need to reach it, I love doing stuff like that, if you cannot tell I am the DM for my DnD group
No. You canāt just visit vessels if youāre not belong to their faction. USCM vessels for USCM officers. USS Almayer and Falcons operate in Neroid Sector which means thereās little to no space for diplomatic visits, the last thing you want to see on your ship is a foreign officer.
