Lighting is fucked

Something happened that was not supposed to. And now the entire LZ corner looks like this.


This lasted for 2 whole hours if you thought it was short term.

Also making this since I am too small brained to make a proper bug report.

its the report bug button in the corner. it pops up a tgui you enter the details into

Yeah, donno how to attach files to it. Which is why i said “Proper Bug report”. Did make a simple one though.

It wasn’t a me problem. Two admins checked it out and saw the same thing. It has now been found out to be an excessive amount of flash powder going off, and its duration and effect got greatly affected by how much was being created.

A nurse brought about 4-6 reagant tanks with 2 reagents in them, one of them possibly being pottasium but i’m not sure.

They also brought a janitor bucket with some reagent in it. they went around the lz and different parts of the map. mixing the janitor bucket with the reagant tank, causing light to appear.
It’s worth noting they went down on first drop.

Not sure if i am correct, but…
If you know about a bug and abuse/use it, it’s punishable. Ahelp it or just playerreport them and staff have to respond to it and check logs.

I’m not even sure it’s a bug, just a long forgotten feature used from time to time by the few people that remember it, I used this flash powder a few times as researcher during hijack to light up the upper Almayer.
