Description of the incident:

Round on Sorokyne Strata, the marines are losing very quickly, one of the survivors (me) is hiding in a locker, the xenomorphs arrange a steam roll to the FOB and capture it. A few minutes pass, I go out and very carefully begin to defib those corpses that were almost perma. To understand, the location where I did this was a northern dead end, which was very far from the xenos (SS13 WebMap | CMSS13 | Sorokyne - 100 165 cords).

According to the queen, who was in that round, the hive was located in the southeast of the map, which excludes the possibility that someone could pass by. Also, according to the queen, the culprit for the fact that someone said that we were there was a larva, which somehow (?) was able to find us, although I had the motion sensor turned on and I am one hundred percent sure that there was no larva nearby. According to the queen, the larva came to LZ and asked to follow her or something like that. As far as I’m guessing, she was sitting in the ghosts, saw the survivors and decided to “catch” them, thereby completely destroying the possibility of survival.

For clarity, I am attaching a video. A list of things that should prove my point. There was no one around us the whole time, as soon as I left the locker, I turned on the motion detector, which would definitely show the presence of a xenomorph nearby. Secondly, we were together all the time, which excludes the possibility that someone ran away somewhere and thereby burned down our location. Thirdly, it wasn’t some runner who caught us, but the entire hive with the queen at our head, which suggests that they KNEW about our location. It’s a mystery how they found out, but I’m guessing that someone who was visiting decided to ruin the Marines’ lives and gain supernatural abilities to sense the geolocation of every surviving Marine from the other end of the map.

The report was written after several players (specifically, me, the queen and a couple of other observers) noticed this anomaly, which looks like the rule break. Thanks :3

Sorry if I’m overstepping by saying this, but I figured I’d point it out.

According the the video, you took out the MD for a second, but most the time it was in the bag. It is possible the larva saw you well you the MD was in the bag. The MD also registered one for a second, though that might be a quirk of the MD code where it shows the previous value apon being turned on before it registers a new value.

MDs will show their last value when they’re turned on.
7 seconds(?) before Anri is revived, the larva spawns. In the video you can see that the MD is turned on after Sergey and Kennith are revived. seeing how the larva would be spawned at a hive core, I don’t see how they could have seen them without having triggered the MD (they all seemed to be together until the IB surgery started, but at that point the larva had already announced that they were there.

I should mention this for public posterity, I was online at the time and I did a brief investigation of the events transcribed above.

I contacted the larva player, they stated that they ran straight from the hivecore and ran straight to the LZ, they claimed they spotted a marine, which they then called out to the hive.

As shown in the image below (which I made post incident), based on the position of the larva’s spawn point, the location of the queen at the fallen FOB, and the area where the Marines were, I decided at the time that on the balance of possibilities I could not believe with enough certainty that the player was metagaming.

I felt it was just as likely they simply saw a Marine who ran too far south as they may have in-fact metagamed. So at the time I took no action against the Larva.

First of all, let me apologize for this taking so long to address; there was a lot of catching up to do with player reports, and this one required additional attention. Clairion and I both watched the video you presented, reviewed logs, and accessed additional sources to assist us in examining this case. On a first pass I agreed that this case looked highly suspicious, however after careful examination of our evidence, Clairion and I have come to the conclusion that there is a low probability that foul play was involved in your discovery. While unlikely as it may seem, the evidence overwhelmingly suggests that the accused player discovered you and your cohort of surviving marines through legitimate non-cheating means. We found it highly probable that the larva discovered you while in a nearby tunnel while trying to rendezvous with the rest of the hive, hence why your motion detector did not pick them up. Because the accusations (as sensible as they may have been to make) were not substantiated by our investigation, this player report is denied.
