So how big is the pred empire do they form colonies like human do. In fact do any other species like the engis or others expand. If not is their a reason why. Despit their being so many species who have been around with space traval for thousands of year space is suprsingly empty.

From what I can see, preds donât see any value in planets other than their homeworld to live in. They build temples around to show how great they are, and to put dangerous animals in to fight.
And as for other sentient lifeforms. They all became extinct when they first encountered xenomorps. There is a theory that the xenomorphs themselves have acted as âthe great filterâ for most of the other species in the galaxy, barring preds, humans (so far), and the engies.
And talking about engies. Not much is known. They hate all other forms of life, use biological technology, and are incredibly rare, but imensly powerfull compared to the othe races.

So why havent humans or preds died out yet if they have been fighting the xenos for over 100 years.
Kind of sounds like humans are on their way to becomeing the dominant of the universe.

Well, humans havenât been fighting xenoes for 100 years (yet) in the year of 2182. We essentially found out about their existance a decade or so ago. As for preds, they find xenos to be quite fun to fight, and because of their very advanced tech can keep them at bay easily.
As for the future? Xenoes are doing wierd psycich shit with the âwoman in the darkâ, and humans arenât even âthatâ much better off then they are now. Preds are mostly the same, if not worse off by humans being off better.
Arcturians are bound to their home planet for spirtual reasons i think, preds i donât know too much about.

Is their a reason humans seem to be the only species to invent AI.
Also in a war between preds and human I think it would be a cold war. Both sides likely have super weapons that could destroy the other. Humans could in theory shoot a FTL nuclear missle at the preds one planet. If they lose that itâs game over. On the other hand the humans could also suffer a similer fate.

In AVP extinction the predators have sentry guns, so predators do have AI.
