Truly wish we got to interact more Ugnip, you were always an example to me when I attempted settling myself in CiC for the first time.
Godspeed buddy.

Another true commander of a older era down.
See you Ugnip. I wish you the best of luck wherever your journey takes you.
One of my most memorable CM rounds is still the one where I hopped on late at night expecting another slow SO shift and then got tag teamed by you and Harry Howard into âââassistingâââ the marines with The Plan 2.0. While we may have not retreated to the sand temple hoping its sacred ground would protect us, those two hours left an impact on me that there was more to CIC than just winning- the game is about having fun. So thank you for unintentionally helping me see command in a new light.
See you around Ugnip, I hope you come back someday. Youâre down but not out.
I donât remember interacting with you super often, but, my memory isnât great either. Youâre definitely a VERY familiar name at least - and one that always seemed to do the right thing. I hope you eventually decide to come back, even if itâs as XO or SL or something. Also, management and council change over time, and will continue to do so, so thereâs that - in terms of becoming CO again. Best of luck to ya.

Even when youâre gone the name and stories will remain. Nothing changes between us just because youâve lost something on an online game full of terminally online people. They found the fentmag stashâŚ
Maybe weâll all wake up and see that it was just a bad dream.
To that eye in the sky, brother.
O7 Joe Dafoe, youâll be remembered as the greatest CO to have existed.
im gonna miss seeing you on the manifest or hiveleaders man, end of an era.
;_;7 see ya bud
My own relationship with this game and its community is complicated, the user base is simultaneously the worst and best part of it. Youâre a player I was always happy to see on, even if I was playing xeno, because I knew the round would be at least a little more interesting.
The memory of you that sticks out the most has to be you personally dropping down on the Normandy, ahead of the rest of the marines, to rescue the FORECON squad I was a part of. It ended with you dying because of the POâs incompetence, but it was awesome to watch that and cheer you on from dchat. Those are the kinds of moments in this game you can easily recall a year or more later, and you produced quite a few of them. If it was up to me, Iâd be encouraging way more of those rule-of-cool cinematic moments.
Itâs always a shame to see players you actually like move on. RIP Major Joe Dafoe found out too much about the disappearance of WKH
you made me dust off my decrepit forums account to post on this though and i will never forgive you
we can still play minecraft even if you arent a top fragger at that
Itâs over whoâs going to keep marine win rates up nowâŚ
o7,
CM has lost a great CO, sad day it is. It was fun playing with you as CO and other roles too over these past years!
o7
I will always remember the many times you killed me when I was a queen wich were all realy funny, you were the most fun CO and a good queen! See you next week.
Sad to see ya go even if we didnt interact much, hope to see ya again someday
Goodbye boss.
Fuck. CMâs missing out. I havenât been active on the PvP side for a minute, but I remember the relief Iâd feel when youâd take the wheel. And while I didnât get a ton of facetime with ya as a ComTech main, it was always enjoyable when I did.
Best of luck to you in whatever comes next!
